Tracy (tstan) | 559 comments Good news! Jahrestage is now available in English. It’s called Anniversaries: From the Life of Gesine Cresspahl, and available from NYRB publishers. The less good news is that it’s 1720 pages.

There was an earlier, abridged English translation, which was hard to locate:
Anniversaries: From the Life of Gesine Cresspahl
Anniversaries II: From The Life Of Gesine Cresspahl

I believe the new nyrb translation is the first complete English translation. :)

Thanks Tracy, I am happy that I caught this. I added the translation to our TBR shelf. I will be sure to catch that when we get to Johnson authors.
