Good, solid romantic-suspense with a lot of action.

Not a fan of this one compared to the first. Like I said earlier it was rushed. The Danny thing was a wasted opportunity for an interesting subplot with the foundation etc. The bombing was really the only action. I feel like this was a novella. I was shocked when I got to the end that it was over. I was expecting more I guess.

These books aren't very long, but they pack a lot in. I liked it, but there were some issues, like Danny's suicide, that cold have been handled differently.

I liked it, didn’t love it because of my issues with the romance and the lack of intensity of the suspense. It was good, just not as good as the first book.

Oh! I did like the set up for Sean and Zahra’s romance.

I liked it but didn't love it. The suspense wasn't as intense as the first book and I just didn't really feel anything for this couple as I usually do with a second chance romance.

I really like how she sets up the next couple by letting us get to know them in the current book.

I like that too, Anita. Then we're not going into the next book not knowing anything about the MCs.
