All About YA discussion

I have been really wanting to get into some contemporary but since I'm not someone who ever reads books in that genre, I don't know where to look and what to buy.

Do you guys have any Contemporary Books that you think I should try? Thanks.

No problem. I read all of those this year when I tried contemporary. I kind of read a bit of everything, but I wanted to read more contemporary this year.

Out of all of those, I might like How to Love the most because it seems the most real.

I will be definitely purchasing How To Love when I go to B&N on the 26th! So excited!

I do too. I only get a paperback if I know I'm taking it somewhere it could be ruined.

Really anything by Sarah Ockler is good. I forgot to add one of my favorites.

I'm just going to make my next book order to be just Contemporary... there's just so many I now want to get.

I will definitely get Anna & The French Kiss, Pushing The Limits & the rest of that series, How To Love, Slammed & a couple other Colleen Hoover books.. and etc.

Have you read any of Colleen Hoovers books? Is she any good or is she a new to you author as well?

I would recommend:

I got it as a Xmas present and really enjoyed it. It's one of those books that totally pulls off being about real life (not a fantasy or adventure book) but is still interesting and SO emotional - hard to achieve, I think. Definitely worth the read. :)

it was a cute & funny. A fast read too.

I agree with Pushing The Limits and Hopeless. Both great books!
