Catherine | 32 comments Hi all, I decided to try this mountain for 2019. I'm still finishing El Toro for 2018 and I'm struggling! So I'll set a more realistic goal for myself for next year.

Welcome back, Catherine! Yeah, I keep wanting to make the big one, Mount Olympus, but I've learned that Mount Everest is really my peak. Hopefully, we'll both exceed our set goal.

Catherine | 32 comments In 2017 I set Mt. Kilimanjaro as my goal and exceeded it! So then I got cocky and set El Toro for this year. It was just a little too much. Either way though, I'm still getting through a lot of TBRs, so it's all good!!

Catherine | 32 comments For 2019 I'm going to try really hard to finish all of the TBRs that were on my list in 2018 that I didn't get to. I DID get my 2018 mountain climbed, just ended up reading some other TBRs than what I had planned. I have no shortage of TBRs so my biggest problem is getting distracted by all of the new books that come out.

Catherine | 32 comments Finished my first TBR for the year! TBR #1 is An Elderly Lady is Up to No Good by Helene Tursten. I bought this book last fall and had hoped to read it around Christmas time, but I wasn't able to get to it then. It's a cute book.

Unlike last year, I didn't have any books in progress going into the new year, so I think this will be my only book for today. I started a few others, so I hope to get one or two more done in the next few days.

Catherine | 32 comments Finished TBR #2 for the year, Perfectly Clear: Escaping Scientology and Fighting for the Woman I Love by Michelle LeClair. This is another one that I bought last year. I've been dying to read it, but when I bought it last fall I was still trying to finish my 2018 TBR challenge, so I set it aside. I really am going to read some older TBRs too, I promise!!
