The Xandrian Forest houses a large bog or marsh, now inhabited by many people who've built their houses in the trunks of the large trees. Many rebels gather around these areas and lots and lots of thieves can drop onto you at any second.

The reason he was here was so he could retrieve something that was stolen from him and he knew that here would be the best place to search. Jinha had poor eyesight but managed to get around by hearing his surroundings, he too was cautious as well.

Max | 9 comments Whereas stranger might have felt threatened or scared of their surroundings, the marshes were home for Ash. Or at least as much of a home as he could have. He hardly ever stayed in one place for long although the marshes were a common resting spot for him to stay for a while. The people respected his privacy and didn’t ask questions. He could go about his business as he wished. The only slight problem was the unfortunate weather. Wrapping himself tightly in his cloak he walked nimbly across a fallen tree to another bank. He was not scared of falling or tripping, he knew the marshes too well to make mistakes like that. A few people were scattered about fires and he kept his eyes peeled for rebel groups. He tried his best to stay away from them, they meant trouble. The last thing he needed was to get attention from the kings army.

The light was dim and even with his detail oriented sight he almost didn’t see the man in front of him until it was too late.
“W-watch it!” He exclaimed as he just managed to stop himself from running into the other person. His eyes narrowed as he took in the stranger. He had never seen him before but he kept his gaze downcast so it didn’t look like he was staring.

Jinha heard a man's voice behind him and tried turning around but had turned around a bit too quickly and before he could he had slipped and fell. Jinha looked up at the guy and squinted his eyes at him, getting up quickly.

"Gomenasai, i wasn't looking"

He patted dirt off his pants

Max | 9 comments Ash hadn't meant to be rude, it had just come out as a natural reaction. With his dark cloak and his face always in the shadows he was used to people being freaked out by him a little bit for almost no reason. He was a wanderer which meant that all the townspeople were afraid of him even though they didn't really know why. people had been afraid of wanderers for generations and the reason why had been lost through the ages. In all fairness, Ash wasn't surprised that people were afraid of those like him. They didn't stay in one place a lot, many of them knew how to mix chemicals and herbs to create poisons and others were master sword fighters or knife throwers. It seemed everyone had a secret talent that could end with someone dead. Ash himself loved to play with toxic liquids and venom.

Despite his scary appearance though, under the hood he was quite a nice person. He just didn't like to talk a lot so the hood stopped people from talking to him when he didn't want to be spoken too.
"S-sorry for scaring y-you." He replied softly, trying to keep some control over his stutter. He gave the man another long look, trying to figure out the details about him. Was he a rebel? A kings man under disguise? It was important to notice these things.

Jinha shook his head, dismissing it. "no worries", I should have paid more attention, he thought to himself. Jinha was about to turn around and leave when he noticed the boy was a wanderer, judging by his clothing.

He thought he might be of help since wanderers...wandered everywhere, he might have seen where his stolen possession might have gone too.
"perhaps...have you seen a pink scarf?"

It might have sounded strange, but yes, he was looking for a scarf.
