Ugh I’m still waiting for my preorder to get to the mail! What’s the point of a preorder if it doesn’t get here on time 😭😭😭 Also does anyone have the extra bonus scene of Kat and Daemon?? I forgot to send my prof of purchase for the preorder and now it’s too late to receive the bonus scene UGHHHHH

i just started it, and omg i'm so excited, i can see re-reads for months to come.
I’m so excited I’m nervous too!! Because if there’s a cliffhanger at the end I don’t know how patient I can be waiting for the 2nd book!!! Gaaaah I can’t wait to get my hands on the book!

Ahh I can't wait to read more! And no! Dasher was basically the Sargent that was working with Nancy, he was the one that Katy always saw when she was captured, he was intimidating and mean! He worked for Daedelus (not sure if I spelled that correctly lol)

riiiight!! I completely forgot about him. I do remember a lot of awful people there, but Nancy is the one who is the most memorable. Ugh I still hate her.

at the same time I loved the series for her, because the villain in the story was a human being. No evil king, no crazy goddess but a human being with too much power, blinded by some ideology. The reality of it was quite overwhelming.

I agree, I think JLA was very smart with her character. I don’t think she died in the ending right? She like ran off or something? So maybe she’s still alive?? I forgot lol😂😂

I don´t remember either tbh. Only remember that the crazy woman shot Daemon and I nearly had a heart attack because of it. Or at least I think I remember that😂

when I saw the name 'Dasher' I racked my brain to try to figure out where I heard it before. I went back to the Lux series and searched 'Sargent Dasher' and nope, nothing about his family. JLA is good *sly smile*

you know, I love the side kicks in this story. Better than the protagonists I think. Kent and Emery are pretty awesome! And Grayson is fun too!

Im just not used to this "group" compared to archer, dee, dawson, beth and all of them! but then again I read all 5 of the books thats why I felt strong for them lol! Otherwise it’s so easy for me to forget half the plot when it’s time for book two. Plus, I won’t have to anxiously wait a year or more after living through one of JLA’s famous cliffhangers 🤯😊
Buuut you have to wait three years for a JLA read. That‘s a loooooong time.

However, choosing between waiting three years for a completed series that I can bench read from start to finish right away or reading one book per year where I have to suffer each year with my bad memory and amped up anticipation (amped up because of said famous cliffhangers). this is the first time I'm reading a series that is not complete so I totally understand LOL! Her writing is so addicting, she knows how to create the perfect build up to her books, making you want more and more!
You can always do a re-read before the next book comes out;)

Even if the story is good I can get bored real easy if I’ve already read it before. It’s not really that exciting if I already know what’s going to happen. I then rather skip to the best parts, which for me is the romance stuff ( insert ❤️😍❤️😍❤️😍❤️ Here) and some important information that I forgotten goes over my head because I skip parts. Plus, it doesn’t remove that long anticipation and waiting for the next book to come out. I prefer to use that time to read new stories instead of rereading old ones. And how great isn’t it to find out what happens next right away when bench reading instead of having to wait?

I really think Zoe and April didn't like each other because they both KNEW what they were! I really disliked April ever since she was being mean to the Luxen at school! Ugh I feel so bad for them :( and the fact that they have disablers on makes it worse :(
