Level 6: El Toro (75 Books)

Conny Climbs Again
So glad you're joining the climb again! good luck. It's been a while since I named the mountains. But--I think this is the one I found when I researched mountains: Cerro El Toro is a mountain in the Andes located on the border between Argentina and Chile. It has an elevation of 6,168 m (20,236 ft))above sea level.
When I was looking then, it just came up as El Toro

It's driven me crazy not knowing which mountain I was climbing, and when I Googled, I always ended up with an anthill on Majorca ... Maybe because I'm in Europe, I don't know.
Thanks, Jessika :)
I've thought of posting my TBR list, but I don't know if I would stick to it. Do you worry about that? Good luck with all your goals!
Well, the point is to decimate the TBR, so unless you're planning to cheat, there is no harm in posting the current list as of 1 January; on the contrary, it helps you choose what to read next.I still read other books in between, but I don't count them towards this particular goal.

I think I misunderstood and that maybe your TBR is smaller than mine. :) I own over 500 books, so I will not be listing them. LOL
Rhonda wrote: "I think I misunderstood and that maybe your TBR is smaller than mine. :) I own over 500 books, so I will not be listing them. LOL "500 unread books is a LOT! I thought my TBR was huge, and it's barely 150 or so (thanks, e-books ...). I don't think you misunderstood. I do keep a list of my unread books which I update diligently every time I get a new book, and I am indeed going to post that list here :)
😂 Yes. I got that. That 500+ is unread.I have a small notebook I keep my list in. I also have a “TBR I own” shelf here on Goodreads.

Rhonda, I have around double your unread owned books...my goodreads shelf lists 987 but I have many books still not added in gr.
Good luck to you both, Conny and Rhonda on tackling your lists and mountains of books in 2019!
This is the list I will be using to tick off books starting 1 January 2019. I will not count any books acquired on or after 1 January 2019, nor borrowed books. Rule for re-reads: I will only count books that I have read before if (a) I have read a different edition (such as one in another language) but never the specific one I am counting, or (b) I had borrowed the book when I first read it but have never read it since I actually got it for myself.I am taking the PopSugar Reading Challenge again this year, plus the A–Z challenge as backup. However, this time I am explicitly allowing re-reads (I've just gone too long without Harry Potter...), so I may proceed a bit slower here than last year.
So here we go (italics indicate the book is reserved for a challenge):
