one point tasks

1.1 National Fast Food Day
List your favorite fast food. (ex: hamburger)
Then read a book whose author's first & last name initials are in the fast food you listed.

Read Two Books
This month we're learning some fun facts about our pygmy marmosets and wallabys.

1. Pygmy Marmosets
Complete one of the following tasks.

The pygmy marmoset is a small species of New World monkey native to rainforests of the western Amazon Basin in South America.
a) Read a book set in a rainforest or a Central or South American country

The female gives birth to twins twice a year
b) Read a book that includes a set of twins or where MC is a twin

The species is notable for being the smallest monkey and one of the smallest primates in the world, at just over 100 grams (3.5 oz)
c) Read a book that is short – 100-199 pages

2. Wallabys
Complete one of the following tasks.

A wallaby is a small- or mid-sized macropod found in Australia, New Guinea and New Zealand
a) Read a book set in one of these countries

Young wallabies are known as "joeys", adult males as “jacks” and adult females as “jills”
b) Read a book with an MC or author whose first name is Joe, Jack, or Jill

Wallabies cover vast distances for food and water, which is often scarce in their environment
c) Read a book where someone travels over a substantial distance – explain if not evident
