It's time for January's nominations! Books that we have not read in the past two years are eligible for nomination. Nominations must be at least 50 years old, written by a woman, and please state whether or not you can lead.
There is no theme. Nominations end the 15th.

Here is the bookshelf link: https://www.goodreads.com/group/books...

Thank you!

Jamie Zaccaria Since it didn't win last month, I want to try again for Patience & Sarah by Isabel Miller.

Patience & Sarah by Isabel Miller

Set in the nineteenth century, Isabel Miller's classic lesbian novel traces the relationship between Patience White, a painter, and Sarah Dowling, a farmer, whose romantic bond does not sit well with the puritanical New England farming community in which they live. Ultimately, they are forced to make life-changing decisions that depend on their courage and their commitment to one another.

January's book is The Morgesons. Since the holidays are coming up and people taking off work, would anyone want the threads posted before Christmas? If not, I plan on posting the discussion threads around December 28/29.

Hi Charlene - I'm ok with whatever date suits you! I have committed to way too many reads next month, so will be quite late starting this one.
