I just started this.So far,finding it interesting.
After Les Miserables, I wondered if I would like other works by the author and am finding the writing very beautiful.
I might have to get the ebook at this point. Requested from the library three weeks ago, and still waiting.......
I am about 2/3 into it. It is very short (could have been in the short story category?) I like the style of writing. I really must read Les Misarables someday. I never have....
Ah, another romance novel with gables!
I'm surprised by how much I'm loving this. (I've not read much French literature). But, I will say that this book is not and emotionally easy read!
