A network of small buildings were built into a cleverly hidden cavern in the middle of the woods, hidden from all things except the rebels. It is prohibited for any rebel to bring an outsider inside or within the area without the leaders prior permission and with good reason.

"Seven" walked around the rebels headquarters quietly, his nose in a book. He had just finished joking around with a few of the other Rebels. He, being a messenger and having a rebel friend who happened to be a spy, he knew a lot of people, not personally, but he knew of them. Having one of his old friends become a spy was awesome because he could always blackmail her and get her to tell him some info. Of course he never blackmailed Yuki with anything serious, just some embarrassing things she wants no one else to know about. Of course, she could always blackmail him, knowing his real name and what not, but she never did, knowing that it was important to keep his identity a secret. He flipped the page of his book, however, because he was so lost in his book and his own thoughts, he wasn't really paying attention to where he was going.

Rafael had just finished reporting to the head spy and walking out into the open, he let out a long sigh. Nothing interesting was happening and he longed for something to do. He'd been stuck for the past month spying on, well, nothing important. Well then again, this had started when he had almost gotten caught and word had gotten to the head spy about it. It wasn't his fault! Wicked was being a huge pain (as usual) and she had decided to fly around the clocktower, causing a ruckus. Almost as if she could hear him thinking about her, the crow swooped down and landed on his left shoulder. Her small but sharp talons dug into the deep cut that took up most of his shoulder from a dagger fight and Rafe hissed in pain, pushing the bird off only to have her fly over to his other shoulder. Shaking his head, he turned around to find a place to rest, only to have someone walk right into him.

Seven's book fell, and so did a bunch of notes Yuki had given him about the townspeople and the people inside the castle. Seven looked up at the taller boy. "Oops, Sorry bud. I wasn't watching where I was going." Seven apologized before going to retrieve his book and notes. The red head's reactions seemed a bit slow and careless. Normally, if someone had dropped notes as important as the ones he had they would be scurrying to get them. But, Seven figured it didn't matter. It wasn't like Yuki was keeping the information he had from the higher ups or any of the rebels, he was just getting the information in more detail, all the way down to the smallest details that normally don't matter.

Rafe blinked quickly in surprise before kneeling and helping him grab his notes. His first thoughts were all that of a spies, 'what is he hiding? what can I learn?'. However after a moment, it turned into just plain decency as he gathered the last of the boy's things and handed them to him. "It's alright, it happens to everyone. What'cha reading?" he asked curiously. Quickly scanning his thoughts he realized though he'd seen the readhead around, sometimes with Yuki, he had never actually interacted with him. Not that it mattered, of course, but he seemed like a very intricate person. "You're Yuki's friend, right? I'm Wolf" he said with a nod of his head, trying to ignore Wicked hopping from one foot to the other on his shoulder. At least she wasn't cawing at the top of her lungs, now that would be a mess.

"Thanks..." He said as he took the notes from Rafe and placed them neatly back into his book. "I'm reading some fairy tale I think? My brother gave it to me and told me to read it." Seven said as he closed his book. He scanned the boy in front of him, his eyes reaching Wicked. He looked at the bird curiously but then turned his attention back to Rafe. "Yep! Yuki and I are best friends! I'm practically her older brother. Known her since she was still a toddler." Seven hummed proudly, knowing if Yuki was here she'd probably kill him for saying stuff like that. "My name's Seven. And if you meet a very quiet and grouchy white haired kid who says he knows me and is looking for me, whatever you do, do not tell him you saw me." Seven warned. That before mentioned white haired kid was his twin brother, and honestly, he did not feel like dealing with him. While Thirteen had been a bit mean and distant, he'd always give Seven an earful for all the stories Thirteen kept telling about Yuki when she was younger and much more.... clumsier...

Rafe listened, nodding every few words Seven said. He had managed to pick up a few things from the book, but nothing of major importance. However, from the way he held the book, who knows what was in there? After that thought, Rafe kicked himself internally. He didn't need to steal things from other rebels, that wasn't the goal. "Fairy tales sound good, it's been awhile since I've read one" Wicked kept biting at his ear so he shrugged her off his shoulder and she flew off, gliding around a corner and dissapearing from view. "Yuki's an amazing spy, you're lucky to be close with her. Siblings are pretty great" he said nonchantly. Rafael had seen Thirteen before, but didn't know him by name so when Seven warned him not to tell him where he was, Rafe nodded again. "Are you guys in a fight or something?" He knew it wasn't his buisness, but he was just a tad curious...

"She sure is! She used to be way more cheerful though. Which is kind of sad." Seven hummed. He knew he wasn't one to talk, after all, they all changed after the incident over 9 years ago. He was lost in thought, thinking about Ariel, when Rafe asked another question. "Nah... We don't really fight. He just yells at me when I do something bad." Seven shrugged. "Right now he's angry because I was teasing Yuki and embarrassed her in front of one of her friends." Seven explained.

Seven saw his brother in the distant, talking to a certain nugget with brown hair. (Yuki) "Damn it! Why is she back so early? Shouldn't she still be in the castle?" Seven cursed under his breath. Not only was Thirteen angry, but Yuki was angry too. Earlier this morning Seven may or may not have pulled a prank on her, and she didn't seem all too happy when he ran away from her earlier. Being faster than the little nugget, of course he got away, but now he had to face her wrath, along with his brother's.

"Really? Yuki, cheerful? That I would like to see!" he chuckled softly, tilting hs head slightly. Rafael nodded as Seven explained, thinking of his brother. "My brother and I used to be like that, he would say things all the time and I would get so mad at him....but you always forgive, right? That's what's so good about siblings, I guess. They're always there for you" He almost added 'until they aren't' but he stopped himself.

Rafe looked at Yuki and Thirteen, then back at Seven. "I'm guessing that's the white haired kid you were talking about, and since neither him or Yuki look very happy, and they're storming this way, I'm also guessing you probably did something and they've finally found you" he stifled a laugh after finishing. "I know you said you weren't in a fight, but it looks like one is going to break out, am I right?" without waiting for Seven to answer, he added "If you need any help, I'm here". Truth is, he was dying for some action and really nothing exciting was going on. Nothing besides this....

Xander Mizuki (xandermizuki) | 368 comments Yurina had just returned from the capital. Her mask was dangling off of her hip as she sat a a random table and started to write in her journal. She took out a flask and sipped from it. She always carried a flask of cider to wake her back up every now and then.

"Yeah.. I guess..." Seven replied. He loved his brother, but they weren't all that close. All they did were drift and drift apart. The only thread that kept them together was Yuki, and even then it was a rather tight string. "Out of the four of us, she was always the most energetic and cheerful." He hummed, accidentally slipping up. Three, not four.. he reminded himself.

"You have no idea. You might as well expect a whole blown out war at this point." Seven sighed as Yuki and Thirteen approached. He crossed his arm and tapped his foot, just simply waiting for the wrath that was ready to be bestown upon him. "I can't believe you dumped water over her! Do you know how much time I spent getting that wig ready for next week." Thirteen sighed. Seven smiled sheepishly. "It was a harmless joke, man." Seven huffed. "You got my favorite t-shirt wet..." Yuki whined, not the least bit concerned about the wig. She didn't even seem as angry or Seven, not even close. "Sorry about that, nugget." Seven apologized. "Who are you calling a nugget?" She barked.

(( Sorry for the late response, Dash. ))
