Classics Without All the Class discussion

It's really going slow for me. I think I need to pick it up a bit and concentrate on breezing through. It should get better and it's not uninteresting, just not following the story too closely.

I knew nothing about this book, expected a kid's story but I guess not. There is a lot of boozing in the book and interesting that John, our young hero, doles it out. I loved it from the beginning.
