I’m here. I’m actually out of town and forgot to grab this one, but I’ll only gone a few days. There’s some excellent nonfiction out there...though I am much more a fiction reader!
I am also in for this month!! I do not read non fiction very often, like one book in two months. Maybe next year, I can try like once a month.
I am planning to read using a schedule, like two chapters a day :) This way, I will be able to read this book without any effort along with my fiction books.
I started today and read two chapters and liked the writing style very much.

I've heard good things about Killers of the Flower Moon. I'm not as familiar with The Lost City of Z.

I'm in. I've been wanting to get to this one, so you have given me the opportunity. Loved "Killers of the Flower Moon" My first group read so lets see if I can keep up.
Here! I rarely read non-fiction. Oddly enough I have three non-fiction going now and they are mostly going very slowly. However, I'm on page 71 of Unbroken and I'm loving it so far. It flows smoothly and is keeping me interested in the story. Was taken by surprise by the statistics of those killed in training accidents during the war. Staggering! You can tell that Hillenbrand did extensive research.
I'm here. My first time & I was so excited to get hold of this book from my library. I hardly ever read nonfiction but have been wanting to read Unbroken for a while now.
I'm excited to start this book as well. I first heard about the book from one of our former foster kids who had read excerpts and watched the movie at school. I saw bits and pieces of the movie, but I have wanted to read the book for a while. My first thought in answering if I read much nonfiction is that I don't. However, I went back to look, and I've actually read quite a bit more this year than I realized and have a few more on my TBR for 2018. I did a quick calculation, and it's about 20% of my reading.
This has been my favorite nonfiction in quite a while:
The Girls of Atomic City: The Untold Story of the Women Who Helped Win World War II
I plan to get started on this pick early next week.
I’m in with this read! Unbroken has been on my shelf for years. Glad to finally get to it. Just finished up Victober reads and beginning this today.
So glad to have you all reading along this month! I just got to about 1/2 way tonight and am very captivated by this story. Happy reading!

Do you read a lot of nonfiction? A little? Any favorite nonfiction books you've read this year? I admit that I don't read nonfiction that often. I have good intentions to, but never seem to reach for it. Maybe this one will motivate me to read more!
Give a shoutout if you're reading along this month. Feel free to pop back in to this thread and say hello to others reading with us.
