This is a hoot - I've just opened a box of 'Death in the Winter Garden' and was casually flicking through the first few on top and found a completely different book inside! It's called Personal Best by Marc Woods - I wonder if he has any stray gardening murder mysteries snuggled between his covers? Has this happened to anyone else? Think I might complain, though they were printed a while ago by Antony Rowe.

I just checked - and it's YOUR book. I'd be a little unhappy about that! Do you have any recourse?

So far just six books. I'll dig a bit deeper in the box when I've got time

How odd! That would certainly be confusing. Did you contact them? That's a pretty serious error, reputable or not

Maybe I'll delve deeper into that box then get in touch with them. They certainly weren't cheap.

Right, I opened the last box and lo and behold, another 6 cuckoo books! I dug out the estimate and they cost £41 for 12 books so I have asked for a refund, but it's a few years ago now so may not get anything. Will let you know.

Almost not worth your time. That's a major irritant - other people's mistakes causing us to have to spend time and money. I keep telling the husband and hour of his time to get a $5 refund is NOT worth it.
