Aspergers is on the Autism spectrum so most people will just use Autism as the general term. Did they specifically say you don’t have Aspergers?

Hi, I'm autistic too.

My younger sister has a more expressed form of autism, but I have Aspergers Syndrome and it affects my friends heavily. I feel like a burden to them a lot.

Sorry to hear that! I'm sure they don't fell burdened at all!

I have relatives with Asperger’s, and my daughter has a talent for making friends with Asperger’s and autistic people. So if someone says they have Asperger’s, for me it’s like, “Oh, okay, I get it.” It doesn’t seem like something that should be very burdensome.

I wonder if I am borderline Asperger’s myself. I miss a lot of social cues, can’t do small talk, and interrupt a lot. I can tell what people are thinking or feeling, but I don’t know how to react to it.
