{The Town's Pet Store, owned by a fellow called Jason }

Alodia charged full force for the pet shop when she saw all the cool things inside, eyes bright with excitement. Suddenly, she jerked to a stop, her front paws dangling in the air as something stopped her. She was confused. Why did she stop? Little grunts of effort escaped her as she struggled to move forward and continue her headlong dash into the store.

When Alodia charged, Mami gasped in surprise, feeling the makeshift leash pull taut. Selene blinked and chuckled lightly, understanding the look on Alodia's foxy face.

Alodia would have started to wriggle on the ground to fight whatever was stopping her from charging forward, but she didn't want to risk getting dirty and getting forced into another bath. Alodia strained against whatever was holding her, bracing her little paws on the ground as she tried to pull forward and free herself, but being a lot weaker than Mami, she made no progress.

Selene opened the door of the pet store for both Mami and Alodia, walking ahead of them. When she turned back to see Alodia straining against her makeshift leash, she awwed internally and waited patiently while Mami was just casually holding onto the other end of the scarf.

Alodia ended up exhausting herself trying to strain forward into the pet store and plopped down, her tails splaying out as she panted for breath.

[[She's too adorable >.< p.s. you might have noticed, but I'm really slow at rping today!! I'm kinda working on some stuff for uni T.T]]


Mami caught up at last and looked down at Alodia, "aww, you okay there Alodia?" She asked, though she knew what Alodia had been exhausted over. She felt a little like a bully, teasing Alodia in this manner, but her reactions were just too cute!

((^_^ I noticed but figured you must be busy so I didn't worry about it.))

Alodia looked up at Mami with big eyes, panting with her tongue lolling out of her mouth. She wagged her tails half-heartedly and said, I-i wanna go inside....but....I think there is a barrier keeping animals out....I can't go in...

Mami chuckled lightly and then looked up at Selene, and said, "well, how about trying now?" Since Mami was right next to Alodia now, the makeshift leash was slack, though if Alodia tried running off again, she would hit the same kind of resistence. Selene sighed, planning on scolding Mami for being a bully.

((^_^ its fine, you needn't apologize. You have things to do just like anyone else and I totally understand. Take your time, seriously.))

Alodia sniffed the air ahead of her warily, then inched forward in a crouch, her rear and tails in the air as she crept forward several steps. Its.....gone? she said quizzically, straightening. Then, she spotted something shiny in the store and tried to dash for it. She was almost within grabbing distance of it when, once again, the barrier stopped her from moving. She yelped in protest, lunging at the shiny toy eagerly, hoping to reach it with her paws to no avail. Alodia plopped down again, looking ready to cry as she stared up at the shiny bell toy. B-but.....I-i want.... she said, sniffling and looking back at them with big pleading eyes.

((its essentially one of those cat toys, ya know the plastic ones with the little bell inside? But the whole thing is made of metal to make it more durable against some of the more....exotic pets that people buy them for since plastic could be crushed easily in some creatures jaws.))

Mami nodded when Alodia asked her question. As soon as Alodia was up and at 'em again, she found herself pulled back by the makeshift leash which Mami found adorable. Selene elbowed Mami in the side and said, "leave her alone." Though she doubted Mami would pay attention to her and well, she thought, at least Alodia is on a leash. She reached over and picked up the toy to look at it. "Do you like this Alodia?" SHe asked her.

((^_^ of course! You should never have to apologize for being busy outside of GR imo))

Alodia danced around on her hind paws, trying to get the toy as her tails wagged eagerly. Yesyesyes! she cheered.

Selene looked it over, it seemed okay, and she was amused that Alodia chose this one, since Alodia was small and cute, and she could hardly imagine her chewing up a plastic toy. "Okay, we'll get this one...what else do you like here?" She asked.

((Well, you never have to apologize to me, cause I don't mind.))

Its so.......shiny.... Alodia said with huge eyes, staring up at the ball. She blinked when Selene asked if she liked anything else and dropped to all fours to look around again. She sniffed the air, then her eyes got kind of glazed over. She stumbled a little and rested her chin on Selene's foot. I.....feel.....weird.... she slurred.

Selene looked down and blinked, seeing Alodia resting on her foot, "Alodia? Weird?" She bent down and rested a hand on the fox's head and said, "honey, are you okay?" She looked concerned.

Alodia blinked and looked up at Selene, her eyes glazed over as she let out a slurred noise.

"Sounds like someone is highly reactive to foxnip." Jason said, walking towards them. He grabbed a bag of green stuff that looked almost like catnip but slightly different. "This stuff here is to help tame the more wilder of your fox companions. Its good for foxes that are known to be a bit more violent.....though I've never seen a breed quite as small as her, so its possible the scent overloaded her senses....what breed is she?" he inquired.

[[And lols...when I saw 'Jason' I thought of Jason Vorhees from the Friday the 13th series XD - I forgot I named the shop owner Jason!!! Lol]]



Mami looked over at Jason and blinked, "foxnip? Oh!" She said leaning in closer to the bag of green stuff. She looked down at Alodia and at Selene's concerned face and said, "um...I'm not sure...Selene do you know?"

Selene shook her head, her short black hair smacking her lightly on the face with each shake.

((XD haha nice))

"Yeah, its a really rare plant that was crossbred with catnip to work for foxes." Jason explained. He knelt down nearby Alodia after putting the foxnip away and reached to pick her up, then paused and asked, "May I?"

Mami and Selene shared a look and then nodded their heads. He could pick her up, it didn't look like he would harm her, but then, in this form, Selene was only a tad bit worried about Alodia and whether she would react towards men.

Jason picked Alodia up carefully, standing in the process to try and lift her away from the smell of the foxnip. He examined her from all sides and said, "She looks like a really rare breed. Its one that I don't think I've ever seen in my shop before...." he suddenly grew very quiet, then said, "Is she afraid of males?" in a very calm voice.

Mami and Selene both blinked at the fact that she was a really rare breed. "Well, yes," said Selene surprised that he had picked it up, "how did you know?"

"Because she's just peed in my hands." Jason said, equally calm. He didn't seem overly upset about it as he continued with, "Don't scold her or anything, happens all the time in my line of work unfortunately. Some animal is always peeing on me....or in the one case that Cerberus came around....." he shook his head as he set Alodia down. "I'll be back, I just need to wash my hands." he disappeared into the back of the store.

Alodia whined, her ears flat and tails low as she stared up at them, expecting a scolding or worse for peeing on him in her fright.

"Oh..." Mami and Selene said both at the same time, sweatdropping.

"Cerberus came around here?" Mami asked surprised wondering if they had come alone, "did you see the Queen too?"

When he went to wash his hands, Selene was bobbed down rubbed Alodia on the head, "guess you're still afraid of men honey, oh well, one step at a time."

Jason returned from the back of the store, drying his hands on a paper towel. "Yeah, Cerberus came around as three great dane sized dogs. The queen came too, she was looking for a durable toy for them to play with. That was ages ago of course, back when Cerberus was still just a little puppy." he said.

Alodia blinked in surprise. She wasn't scolded? But she had an accident in his hands....

Jason glanced down at Alodia and said, "So, what kind of supplies are you looking for for her? I've got everything you would need and more."

"Oh that would have been fun," said Mami wondering if Cerberus had been good that day and did not make a mess.

Selene looked down at Alodia and just rubbed her head still. "It might be nice if you didn't do that again though," she murmurred.

"Well, we need pretty much everything," said Mami bluntly, "we have nothing." She held up the makeshift leash as an example.

"Oh, they were quite mischievous even before they had size on their side." Jason said with a laugh. "But, as puppies, the amount of chaos they could cause was significantly minimized, much to my relief."

Alodia's ears flattened against her head. I-i didn't do it on purpose.... she said in a tiny voice. I-i just opened my eyes and there was a g-guy holding me and I-I got startled and then I just.....peed....

Jason smirked at the leash and said, "Alright, well I've got everything you could possibly need....though I might have to dig around in the back to find a collar her size."

"Oh lucky!" Said Mami who had caught glimpses of the three dog version of Cerberus whenever she popped into Hell for a visit once in a while.

"I know, I know, it's okay...you just need to get used to it, little steps," said Selene kindly, picking up Alodia.

"Hopefully there's one for her, and that it's not too difficult to find," said Mami when he metioned the collar.

"Lucky indeed. If they tried to enter my shop now, or rather if Bite and Kill did, I don't even want to think of the destruction they might cause. That's why I have a shipping service for Hell only, so the Queen can get her things and they stay out of my shop." Jason said with a chuckle. He moved to show them the different food and water bowls and said, "Go ahead and peruse these, the 'dog beds' as they are more commonly known despite being used for all manner of animals, and leashes are in this aisle. I'll go in the back to find some collars in her size." he disappeared into the back again.

Alodia whined softly as she was picked up, her ears flat against her head still.

Mami chuckled, "indeed, that would be more preferable. I'm sure the Queen agrees." She took the bowls and food that Jason passed her and looked at the dog beds. She waited until her returned before saying, "I don't know if we'll need a dog bed, where she's staying at the moment, there's plenty of sleeping space, unless you feel it is wiser to buy a bed in case?"

Jason had a handful of collars in varying sizes and designs for them to look through and try on as he answered, "It never hurts to get them their own spot to sleep. They might like sleeping on your pillow, but there are countless reasons why making sure they have their own spot to sleep on is important. If you are sick, for example, or if you have a ah.....special friend over, or if they are sick, its wiser to have them sleep in their own bed."

Mami looked over at Selene whose expression didn't change at the mention of a special friend, but for some reason, though Mami never saw any evidence of it, she felt that Selene and Estienne had a closeness that others did not often share. "I think that sounds good too, Selene you should buy Alodia a bed," it was kind of a command. But Mami turned back and looked at the various collar designs, "aww they're all so pretty, well, most, which do you like Alodia?"

A dog barked from his little window thingy. licking the glass waiting for a master

Alodia tilted her head as she looked at the collars. Um.....I like the pink heart glitter one.... she said after a moment.

Jason smiled and picked the collar up she was talking about and handed it to Mami. "Here, why don't you try and see if it fits?"

Mami took the collar, smiling politely, completely unlike her, and put the collar on Alodia. It was cute, and adjusting it a bit, it seemed like a perfect fit, " I think it fits," she said brightly, hoping it was indeed the case, though since Mami knew nothing about what was good for collars and whatnot she figured she'd let Selene or Jason figure it out.

The dog wagged its tail at the visitors, pushing its brother away from the window to be centre of attention

Alodia scratched at it a few times until it sat comfortably around her neck.

"Looks like a good fit." Jason said with a smile, being careful to not get too close and scare the little fox again.

((Oh is it the girl that is afraid of men? Alodia i think?))

((eyup, Alodia. She's afraid of men(she's already peed on the store owner cause he's a guy) and she kinda will freak out if there's too many people around her still too))

Mami beamed, and Selene smiled politely, as they loked at Alodia getting used to the collar. Selene's scarf dangled in Mami's hand, and Mami asked Alodia, "how does it feel?"

Its.....different....but not bad. she said decisively.

"I've got a wide variety of leashes over here too, pick something you'd like." Jason offered.

Mami blinked and looked behind her startled by the noisy dog. Selene however said, "aww that's good Alodia, let's go pick a leash now," she grinned.

Alodia wagged her tails, then yipped at Mami to get her attention again. We're getting a leash.......whats a leash? she asked moments later.
