It's time to start nominating your choice of a fantasy/UF series that you'd like considered for 2019 to replace Throne Of Glass, which concludes this month. Our other two series will continue into next year. We will begin the series with the most votes in January.

There are only a few rules:

1. You're limited to nominating a maximum of three series
2. Each nominated series must have at least three books (more than five are preferable)
3. The books in the series must be available for purchase.
4. Your nomination must include the series name and author (check on Goodreads for the proper series name).

Nominations will be open until November 20. At that time, we will set up a poll for everyone to vote for their choice. The top three will move to the final round.

Let the nominations begin!

Lieke | 1734 comments Is this fantasy enough? Probably is more science fiction:
James Dashner - The Maze Runner (5 books)
https://www.goodreads.com/series/1104...

This one has been on my TBR for a long time:
Lian Hearn - Tales of the Otori (5 books)
https://www.goodreads.com/series/4995...

Have to think if I have a third series to nominate.

Maze is considered Sci-Fi & dystopian, which I think qualifies.

Anita Reads | 226 comments With Robin Hobb. I highly recommend reading all the elderling books, and preferably in their publication order. All her series is tied to each other some how - with characters showing up or them talking about situations happening in the other settings.

message 12: by Anita Reads (last edited Nov 06, 2018 09:37PM) (new)

Anita Reads | 226 comments I want to nominate:

I like the idea of doing a trilogy.

Christina T (crysteena73) | 558 comments I have so many of the ones nominated on my TBR shelf I was debating on just waiting for the voting rather than nominating more. Of course I'm nominating more though....LOL.

The Others Series by Anne Bishop 8 Books with Book 9 coming out in March of 2019

The Black Jewels series by Anne Bishop 9 Books

message 17: by Robin (new)

Robin (robinmy) | 3499 comments I see a couple of nominated series that I've been wanting to read for a while. This is going to be tough.

Elemental Assassins series by Jennifer Estep (17 books)

Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs (10 books)

message 20: by Charlene (new)

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 656 comments Goodness gracious! What an array of nominations.

I think I'd rather begin with a trilogy or 6 books rather than commit to over twenty in a series. This is just my humble opinion....

Anymore nominations?

message 28: by Lieke (new)

Lieke | 1734 comments Katharine Kerr - Deverry series (15 books)
https://www.goodreads.com/series/4951...

For the other two fantasy series that are high on my TBR the books are too thick for me to commit to one book a month (Outlander and Wheel of Time).

message 29: by Jonetta (new)

Jonetta (ejaygirl) | 12955 comments Mod
Outlander and Wheel of Time could be every other month.

I read Soulless, the first book in Parasol Protectorate, and loved it but never went back to the series.

Dark Currents is the first book in Agents of Hel.
