My word count is 5,623.
You see, I blame it all on this little alien prince who has decided to possess my body. He has dictated by royal edict that this week I must see his specialist, doctors, and scientist so they can examine me and poke me with needles. Instead of efficiently beaming me up to his ship like a proper alien, he has had me drive him back and forth multiple times to make sure he is not ejected from his throne. Turns out next week will be a similar schedule. Still, all is well. This is my story. It's all true.
At least the book is getting written. Slow and steady wins the race... eventually.

I'm at 5,096. I'm behind. Considering that I was at a convention last weekend and part of my writing is a comic book, that's fairly good for me. :)
I'll likely fall behind when I go to PA next weekend...then again during Thanksgiving. Trying to stay ahead, knowing what's coming up.
Got another bonus day today. The hospital put me on standby so I got to write almost all day. My total NaNo word count is 21,874 and my word count for today was 4,320. I was so glad not to have to work today because I was only halfway through a chapter and the storyline was burning in my brain. Now, I'm just praying I don't catch the stomach virus my husband came home early from work with. {SIGH}. I am having a blast with this. :)
Awesome! I worked on editing one of my books and deleted nearly a thousand words. Then I worked on my NaNoWriMo book and add a thousand. I guess that puts me at 0 gained today. Oh well, but both books are looking good either way.

Making progress despite - My husband a stomach virus Friday and Saturday, my oldest daughter having a flat tire and needing my husband to help her while I took her husband to work, my 7 mo old grandson rolling off a bed and getting a skull fracture and brain bleed requiring emergency surgery (His mom was visiting family in AL and his dad was still in San Diego). I just broke the 25K mark. I'm past the halfway point. {WHEW!} Grandbaby came through surgery fine. He's awake, eating and mad about there being an IV in his hand. Going to see him tomorrow.
Well, I got over 2,000 words written today. I'm just going to have to admit that I'm a slow writer, but trying to catch-up is good motivation to stay focused.
