In the book there are 2 main character and they are on earth and Arthur and ford. They met when Arthur saved ford from dying since he is an alien. New to earth and doesn’t know what he is doing, and they become friends and living the few moments on earth. Before it gets exploded by the vogons and the vogons are people that abide by the laws. You shouldn’t listen to their poetry its bad but the vogons destroy the earth but before they do they teleport on to the vogons ship to survive longer. but the vogons find Arthur and ford and take them to middle of the ship to read them poetry in front of all the vogons they almost die. but get picked up by the space president and Arthur’s true love and a sad depressed robot, but the president kidnapped himself and the vogons were chasing them down. shooting at his ship and they land the ship the vogons find the start shooting at them they get away but the vogons get a prisoner which is Arthurs true love.

When you read the book, you see the development of Arthur all crazy and curious about what is happening. to being chill and cool and collective for his true love then you see that Arthur and ford stay closely compact with each other, and always keeping their towel near them always trying to survive another day. and find ways to live in the cruel space galaxy and reach their goals both Arthur and ford. Both with different ones along the way of the journey I think it was cool to see each other’s goals and aspirations to get what they want. that’s why I thought it was pretty good and reminded me of Star Wars in way.

Your book review inspired me to read this book. I am a fan of Star Wars, too !
