I love the HG series. My aunt read the first book, and all she can talk about is how they are so utterly gruesome and dark...and I'm like, "Well, yeah, completely, but it's also about Katniss rebelling against that corruption, though."

So, oh well. No singular piece of entertainment can please every single person on the planet.

THG was my first fandom and I still love it to this day <3

I love the HG series but it's sad.
However, I am memorizing Rue's whistle, and sobbing over her death and being all like…

"At least we have Buttercup."

so how are y'all feeling about "Mockingjay Part 2", that's coming soon?

See it in theaters? See it on DVD? Skip it altogether because it'll be too sad/intense?

I personally am SO EXCITED!!! :) I really hope it is better than "Part 1" was though: I wasn't all that impressed with "Part 1".

I can't wait to see it!! If I have enough time, I'm seeing it first thing in the theaters even though I normally try to avoid them.

I definitely agree, Abby. I so want to see it in theaters, if I can!
I'm curious to see just how popular it turns out to be...since the first few movies were such big draws; I would think the conclusion to the series would be immensely popular - but I also think some people were turned off by the split of the third book into two films. I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

I'm so excited. I went to a movie this past Friday with my roommates and just about gave them a heart attack when I saw the poster, and started going crazy. :)

It's only a matter of days, now. I really want to try and see it over thanksgiving!

I can't wait! My plan is to see if over thanksgiving also, but it really depends on when and how much I work.
