Typically for those not planning on staying long within the town, this Inn is old and some of the rooms are not the most well-kept. (then again, what really was in this time period?) All rooms consist of a cot, a blanket, a night stand but you must provide your own oil lamp or candle, and a bucket to do your business.

((Lol denver, nice name for the inn XD Time period, victorian))
Skye followed Tyrek into the small Inn, she looked around and bit her lip nervously as she stood behind him. The lights hung low and the wooden floors freaked with every step they took. She wrinkled her nose but didn't question Tyrek's decision of bringing them here. They walked up to a middle aged woman who smiled brightly when she saw Tyrke walk towards her.
"Hey," he said to the innkeeper. He held out the pendant. "I need this sold. I'll know of you try to undercut me. And I need a double room now."
She nodded and grabbed the pendant, Skye looked out from behind him. The innkeeper eyed her with raised brows but went back to the valuable seller. She came back with a room key and passed it to him with a smirk.
"Can't wait." She smiled slightly and looked back at the innkeeper. Then back to him, "Let's go." Skye smiled and looked at the room number and dragged him upstairs.
((@Phantom, no one liners please))
((Still it increases storyline so at least three lines or longer))
He allowed himself to be led, his bare feet used to the filth that covered the floor. He smiled at her.
((Still a one liner Phantom, at least three sentences not one.))
((Okay so the mods decided we are giving Phantom a warning, you have to post longer sentences than that. One liners and two liners are for 1x1 groups))
((Fine. Just give me a warning. It's not going to change how I write. Not trying to be disrespectful, but...))

((All she is saying is please add more. This is a semi-advanced group, you need to have at least three lines (not three sentences, cause I know some people confuse that) We don't want to have to do anything rash, just try and write more(: ))
((Oh, for god's sake, you sound like my teachers. Just write more. It would be fine if I actually had more to write.))
((Well then just three lines are fine, we aren't trying to be mean or anything, its a semi advanced group))
((I know you're not trying to be mean. I just would rather not make my roleplay partner wait an hour just so I can think of enough to write a good three line. That's just how my brain works. A rare fault.))

((please don't be rude about it. We're just giving you a warning. You agreed to it when you signed the rules. Thanks!))
She grabbed the key from his grip and then opened the door with a shove. It hit the wall and she almost fell over as she finally got in. Skye looked around the room and then dumped her bag by the side of the small double bed. She pulled off her jacket and put it on the bag too. Skye then looked over at Tyrek. "It's not as bad as you said it was."
He walked in after her, looking around at the familiar surroundings. He walked over to what served as a window, and looked out across the city. Thinking, he turned to Skye. "Did you ever tell me who sent you those baskets of food? I don't recall."
She bites her lip and shakes her head. "No not properly, why do you want to know so badly?" She asked and sat on the lumpy mattress that could barely pass for a bed. Skye ran her hands through her hair again and watched him as he stood by the small window.
He looked back out of the window. "I guess I'm just inquisitive." He looked down. 2 metres to the next window, 5 to the floor. Not at all hard. He looked across the street. Even closer.
"Mmmm... What are you looking at?" She asked as she jumped off the uncomfortable bed and walked over the dirty floors to stand behind him and peek out of the window herself. Skye didn't see anything special and looked up at him with a quizzical expression.
"Just getting to know the area." He said, and pointed as he explained. "2 metres down approximately, to the next window. Another 3 and you hit the street." He gestured across at the building across. "The buildings get wider at the top, so if I climbed just a metre or two up, it would be no problem to get across."
She smiled up at him. "I guess I shouldn't be surprised that you know that." Skye laughed and looked back out of the window, trying to see it from his perspective. She shook her head. "Have you got your escape plan all figured out then?"
"My escape plan?" Tyrek asked, laughing. "I just improvise. What needs planning is your escape. You don't know the area, or the people, and you stand out like a sore thumb."
"I stand out like a sore thumb? Why?" She said and looked down at herself. "Your the one with bare feet and a bare chest." She said and gestured to his clothing or lack of clothing in his case, she looked normal as far as she was concerned.
"And? That's normal here. Half the folks can't afford shoes or a top. Show me your palms," he demanded, hoping to show her the difference.
She twisted her lips to the side and slowly moved her palms so they were facing upwards, she was a few feet away from him as she looked down at them. "People wouldn't be looking at my palms the whole time so how exactly do I stand out?" She asked.
"Just wait." He showed her his palms. The difference was immediately notable. His were rough and callused, hers soft and white. "And your clothes. Good fabric. Expensive fabric."
She shuffled on her feet, for some real she was starting to feel inadequate. She put her small hands into his rough ones. "I don't really know what to say, it's not my fault..." She murmured as she looked down.
"No, it's not your fault. It's a virtue. You're beautiful. But that will make you stand out even more." He looked at her. "And I don't exactly think that outfit is good for running."
She shrugged and nodded. "Then what do you suppose I wear?" She asked and looked back up at him with a raised brow as she pulled her hands away and clasped them together in front of her.
"I certainly don't have anything for you. I wasn't supposing you change, simply observing," he replied, a solemn smile holding on his face, before he broke into laughter.
She looked up at him in surprise. "What?" She asked in confusion as her cheeks burned red. Skye shuffled on her feet and bit at her lip, not liking not knowing why he was laughing so hard.
"Oh, nothing. Just a thought I had. It's stupid; don't worry about it." He went back to the window, and swung his legs over, sitting on the windowsill.
"No you have to tell me." She insisted and walked closer to him. She tilted her head so she could look up at him better. "Please." She begged with wide eyes. "You can't just leave me hanging like that." Skye sighed.
"Nope. Not gonna happen," he said, grinning at her. ((And much as I try, I have nothing more to add to that.))
((I don't mind.))She frowned. "Why?" She asked with a pout and wide eyes. Skye moved even closer. "Please tell me?" She said as she looked up at him a bit more as she shuffled towards him. "Please!" She whined.
((I wasn't talking to you.))Tyrek kept grinning. "Why? Because it's stupid. You don't need to know. It shouldn't have even been that funny, okay? Just forget about it." No matter how much she insisted, he wouldn't tell her.
((I know.))She frowned and rolled her eyes then walked back over to the bed. Skye sat on the bed and crossed her legs, she flattened her dress down and tried to ignore the need to know why he was laughing. She moved her fingers in agitation.
Tyrek looked at her. "I can't stay here very long. It's too confined. I might go roof-running. But then, what would you do?" He looked across at her, awaiting a reply.
"Ummmmm... Sit here?" She said as she looked up at him with a raised brow. "By all means go and run along some roofs I don't mind." She said quietly and laid back on the uncomfortable bed. She stated at the ceiling with a small smile.
"Sure if that's what you want..." She said quietly. "Make sure you don't abandon me." She added quickly, not wanting to be stranded and alone in the middle of a the city; with her family and betrothed after her.
