Zaynah, your are seriously amazing. I don't even know... :)

Words come from tales of a flower dwell.
They say the moon, a halo in a sea of sky,
They say the cuckoos sing as they soar high.
They say the redwood bark shadows the forbidden lover,
But always like secrets and lies uncover.
They say that romance sparks the air,
Quiet and quick, just then unfair.
They say the scarlet of a petalled rose,
They say that turns to blood,
They say it tears from eyes of foes,
From cupid’s arrow, yearn does flood.
But say what love, what pain,
What trust what gain,
What longing, what fear,
Heed their words, danger is near.
What seems to you a tale of true love,
A message from angels, a dove above.
Alas has dark too on its side,
Like the gown and veil of a haunted bride.
No longer sweet smelling rambles,
No longer moonlit ambles.
No longer to mowed beds of flowers,
No longer to joy and light do they cower.
No longer do trees whisper joyful whispers
No longer are breezes dancers and kissers
But not all is lost to eternal dark
Romance, Laughter have left their mark
Betrayal, Trust, Love and Hate
Though it may be slow, it’s powers not late.
The Legend, The Tale, The Rumour is true
The Myths, the words the story you knew
The flower in its power and its powers truce
For real are the stories you now today
Not be its next victim, oh you should pray...
