So I'm writing a fantasy book I'm planning on publishing down the road, and I've been reading a lot of mixed-feelings reviews about different fantasy books, and, most recently, about Kingdom of Ash, the last installment of the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas, in order to understand what it is with fantasy books nowadays that make people so confused and hateful toward the genre as a whole.
I'm now asking you all if you can help me with it. I understand diversity is something YA and NA fantasy books lack, and also the representation of the LGBTQ community. Will you help me and shed some light on other issues in this aspect?
