One Word After Another Book Club discussion

I'm still only a few pages in. I'm having a hard time getting into this one. The writing in this reminds me a lot of all the reasons I hated Twilight. I will try to push through, but this might be one that I don't finish unless it gets better.

Lots of emotions ...

Yes.. lots of emotions with very little action. So far I feel like it takes 5 pages for the main character to stand up. When they do stand up it takes another 3 pages to take 1 step. The snail's pace is killing my will to turn more pages.
