Early word was that no one liked this book so I didn't even finish it. I had to go out of town so I didn't make it to the meeting.

Surprisingly there were 14 of us at this meeting. It was funny how it seemed that the book was either liked a lot or not at all. Full disclosure, I'm in the not at all camp. Maybe a second read would make it better but I was overwhelmed by all of the madness and turns the story took. I know it was non-sense and supposed to be like that which is fine, just not my cup of tea. Alternately, there were several people who found it very funny and enjoyed. That is what I like about book club - we all read the same thing and have very different takes on it but we respect each other and learn what was liked or not liked.
