Kristina Simon (kristinasimon) | 11217 comments 15.9 - Candy Corn
One of my favorite Halloween treats has always been candy corn. (I don't like chocolate so I always traded my chocolate for candy corn. Weird, right?) There's a variant of candy corn released around Thanksgiving that has a brownish-black end, too. For this task, read a book with a cover that is predominately yellow, orange, white, dark brown, and/or black. Ex.
The Dead in Their Vaulted Arches (Flavia de Luce, #6) by Alan Bradley The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate by Jacqueline Kelly Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan The Thorn Birds by Colleen McCullough The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1) by Suzanne Collins The Beginning of Everything by Robyn Schneider Orange Is the New Black by Piper Kerman The Girl with All the Gifts by M.R. Carey A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1) by George R.R. Martin
Required: Include the cover when you post.

Between the sky and the house it looks like there's at least 50% yellow. You're good to go!

They do. All brown/black/orange. That middle one is gorgeous. I'm a sucker for pretty covers. ;-)

Coralie I am looking at Un Lun Dun by China Miéville . Does the cover work? And am I correct in thinking that
IL: MG+ - BL: 4.3 - AR Pts: 16.0 qualifies it for the challenge?

Kristina Simon (kristinasimon) | 11217 comments Arshiya wrote: "For white: Can't Let Go by A.P. Jensen. Will this do?"

No, sorry, Arshiya. There's not quite enough white on there to call it 50% white and none of the other colors (pink or flesh-toned) fit in with the color theme.

Yes, I'd say the cover is at least 50% black, so that works. And, yes, you are correct. All MG+ books will work for the challenge unless specifically excluded by individual task creators.
