Appearance:
Face-Claim: Jun Watarase from the anime - Happiness?!
Hikari’s casual appearance mostly consists of Kimono-based outfits. He has a large preference for Furisode-type kimonos which have wide sleeves and lacks a skirt. Thus, his legs going from lower thigh are visible, but the edges of his shorts, varying on the color of kimono he wears, also shows. He also has a massive preference for sandals to be on his feet. Usually, the sandals are wooden, but he has various painted colors and designs. His hair is cascading on his shoulders depending on how he gets it styled. He has a strong preference for whites due to how his ears and large puffy white tail that is as large as a basketball sticks out.
It is hard for Hikari to wear anything else. His feet are size thirteen as males due to how his quirk has manipulated his body. With the features of a rabbit affecting them, they have a curvature that lift the heel slightly three inches off the ground. This gives the rabbit his overall speed and kicking power as his well-toned legs, muscular, act as springs due to their composition. His pelvic muscles are further affected by his quirk almost replicating the hips of a woman, and augmenting the perception of him being man or woman due to the shape. His upper body seems to be unaffected mostly as he has an above average build attributed to just how he exercises.
Fighting Style & Abilities:
Bunny Shoot Boxing Technique - Mochi
Generally, the rabbit’s style of fighting which is characterized as a combination of Wrestling and Kickboxing. Within Japan, this mixed discipline is called “Shoot Boxing,” and combines the quick fancy footwork and grapples to toss and slam foes. Due to his leg strength, Hikari is able to use his legs like springs to place emphasis on power even though he focuses on speed. However, this means he can only use one and not the other, making him most vulnerable when he attacks with any of his techniques. Hikari names his techniques based on “Mochi.”
Mochi Techniques may have various name, but they are often simplistic. Using his large rabbit-like feet, Hikari is able to mimic a “spring-like” step he makes when he is bounding left to right on his ankles. As power comes from the hips, his Quirk is perfect due to the way Bunny augments the hips in order to maximize attack strength and speed. Mochi Techniques because of this take the name of “Pounding” instruments (Hammers, Mallets, etc) and often are named based on what he is vying for: Speed or Power. For an example, Mochi Techniques that hit rapidly are called “Hammer” due to how Hikari constantly strikes with less strength but rapid speed. The opposite, power over speed, is magnified many times over and are called “Mallet” due to his strikes.
Plus Power
The manifestation of the Quirk, “Plus” as its electrical properties imbue a single strike. By activating the nitrogen in the user’s cells, it materializes as a powerful electrical blow for one strike. In doing so, the user imbues their attacks with an electrical element while giving the pinnacle of power to one blow. The disadvantage is it is limited by the number of times the Quirk can be activated due to how many of the cells it destroys within the body and how the power is used. Hikari’s current level allows him to use his skill a certain limit before reaching a dangerous threshold.
Plus Power is applied a various amount of ways depending on where the electricity is built into the body. Primarily, this is in both the hands and feet, allowing for him to strike with powerful electrical element attacks imbued into his punches and kicks. The act of a punch is taking, but allows for Hikari to push out a discharge of electricity (Bunny Bolt) to directly shock the foe. Other electrical attacks vary such as a powerful impact that aims to rip a foe asunder due to using the leg’s strength and electrical energy (Mjolnir) rather than simply stun and shock. However, such abilities do not stop there as Hikari can use electricity in a various amount of ways in a strategic manner depending on how he discharges.
Bunny Battery
A Skill, rather a mode, that applies the electrical power in a different manner. By activating the Nitrogen through user’s body, Hikari is able to consistently place a burden on his body. In doing so, he burns through his Nitrogen composition slowly while using it as a medium for circulating electricity through his being. The electrical current acts like that of the signals sent from the brain to illicit action. With these electrical impulses, the user heightens their speed and reaction time, making it so that his body is under the burden of an increased electrical overload. The electrical current flows without any harm is due to Hikari’s ears acting like the antennas of a Tesla Coil, allowing for it to flow from his body, across his ears, and bundles in the puff of fur that is his tail.

History:Some Quirks are gifts…some are just curses…
A century had given rise to this, or that is what people thought at the time. Among the endless quirks that came into fruition, there was one that had a not so “elegant” characteristic that was expressed in a family. The Robustelli Family, a noble family within the Amalfi Coasst, had coveted a peculiar Qurik that they did not know would have a certain resilience. A young woman, curious by nature, was the first inheritor of this Quirk; Cecilia Robustelli, who would later be known to be the mother of an undying Quirk that would transcend time, and safeguarded by her rules and restrictive family.
Cecilia was not very graceful with her ability nor with her life, initially. As the Robustelli Family’s name meant “strength” and “vastness,” Cecilia’s family was one that was very protective. Their futures were certain to be carved in stone as told by their names. Cecilia did not like this, would often rebel, and try to go with her own life. She had even married in order to find life outside of the family and its restrictions. She would bare a child, divorce due to the restrictions and limitations to her own dreams brought from being a housewife bought, and then be incorporated back into her family’s eye with them disowning her child. It was during this time that she would realize, like others around the time of the Quig Quig incident, that she had a special ability.
The Quirk would drain her, mostly due to her curiosity and ignorance, leading her to collapse chronically (comically at the strangest moments) and be carted off to the hospital. As she was a woman of science, she had grown curious to know what the Quirk was and how it affected her body. As heroes were not rampant at the time, or even thought to be a necessity, Cecilia would simply become one of many curious minds that would lend her body to the science of studying an understanding Quirks. She even had taken a personal interest in asking the many questions about Quirk-users that research had established today: the eighty-percent of those who had Quirks, the meaning of the genetic manipulation and expression, and not to mention how it inherits.
Even though many Quirks at this time seemed to have had a certain “Pattern” and expression to either be passed on or non-existent in some cases, even if some children had not their parent’s quirks, Cecilia had found her quirk to be unusual. As a woman who had fallen in love and bore a family, Cecilia would have grown curious about her own three children that would grow and start to express quirks of their own. The three children that was her own would express quirks. Although a mother, she could not let her undying curiosity as a scientist die. Fortunately for Cecilia, it all had paid off as she found something shocking about her own Quirk.
The Quirk had manifested! Its second ability shown to be that it would genetically insert itself into the next born offspring of the parent of the Quirk. Cecilia, by then, had developed a hypothesis that the Quirk possibly had a high rate of transferring to the next child, even if they would bare another quirk. By the time Cecilia had reached her old age, upon writing many notes about her maturing children, their lives, and how they would eventually become parents themselves, she had been certain that this quirk was something rare and exceptional. Seeing that all her offspring and their offspring would develop the quirk and make it their own with various changes, she would chronicle notes when spending time with each and everyone one of her children and grandchildren. Some of the children would mimic the other parent’s quirk partially while combining it with her own legacy, others would simply use her peculiar quirk alone, and then there were others who had just manifested a new way to use the quirk.
Science was a marvelous thing! It caused Cecilia to compile all her research, her notes, and would swear to her family to keep it safe and to continue her legacy somehow. Thus, she would take a large hardcover tome with insertable pauper pages and name it the Scientia Scintilla Historia, and she would tell her family to chronicle any new family member who would have this potential within them manifest; this “Spark” for talent for this peculiar quirk.
Thus the quirk was dubbed “Spark,” and the combination of this quirk and the other quirk of the family member would be known as “Plus.”
The Robustelli Family would continue to pass this tome down and record within it over the next six generations, as promised to their mother and the family’s rule. Thus, a new tradition was started to further solidify the Robustelli’s family name. Unfortunately, Cecilia’s unyielding spirit was also within her quirk as well. Robustelli family members seemed to possess an attribute for being as stubborn and desiring to be free along with talent and potential. Some of them went uncontrolled as far as working in tandem with Mafia Members of Sicily. Even the valuable Cosa Nostria Family was entrusted with the safeguarding of the Robustelli’s family’s name in order to make sure both of them endured even through tragedy. Thus, the Quirk became something that was associated with being that of something that wavered “In the Darkness” as blood was spilled in order to keep the Legacy quirk from spilling from within the household of Robustelli. The book consistently was protected, kept recording six generations, and finally becoming a threat.
The Mafiaoso Members and affiliates of Italy and far east Yakuza were accumulating information and research for themselves. This became a problem for the Robustelli Family who had been known to be guarding one of the most famous secrets in history in their book when it came to a Quirk that transcended history and was recorded alongside other quirks it bounded with. This wealth of genetic information was lucrative in the current time of Artificial Quirks and manifestation of heroes and villains for hire. Thus, the Mafia had demanded the Robustelli would profit and share from the records of Cecilia Robustelli or else they break their deal to benefit from the protection and the records be taken from the by force.
It is obvious what happens in stories when war breaks out: no one wins.
However, that was not the case of the Robustelli Family, for they had a scapegoat. Letters and documentation was kept in the tome that wrote records of “Spark” from another branch of the family: a shameful and “lesser” branch that had been banished due to Cecilia’s vie for freedom in her earlier years. Cecilia’s child born from her first lover had lived and raised their offspring in solitude as demanded in exile from the Robustelli Family and done so in the far east reaches of Japan. Not only did the lineage endure, but also remained in contact until the last remnants of “Spark” was washed away from the face of Italy.
Enough so that they sent a certain “Package” to the surviving family members…
Xenneth Hikari and Rosetta Dee’ Lu, two children who lived under a household of a single mother had taken in multiple deliveries to a Flower Shop in Tokyo’s Business district that day.
Xenneth Hkari, a child born to a quirky man, Hikaru Hikari, with a taste for a klutz and distant, had been without a father for a good while. In his younger years, he was with his family of three with a woman who went by the name of Chiasa Yamano, a residential woman who was born in small town Okinawa. With Hikaru desiring the easy life, breaking away from his family’s watchful eye as he was thought to have no dreams or deep desires, had wanted to start a family while working an easy life. This led him to coming to a local Flower Shop within the port city, constantly courting a woman with a rabbit-quirk and a nose for certain fragrances and flowers. Hikaru loved Chiasa’s preference for simplicity and romanticism, as she did for his easy-going nature and lack of masculine traits found in most men.
They got along well…
Eventually, the family would form from them investing a lot of time in one another and becoming wedded. As Xenneth was born, Hikaru had found himself staying close to his son who had seemed to develop his mother’s quirk, physically expressing it, and washing away his family’s absurd insistence that their family had a certain “quirk.” It was not until Xenneth came home, crying, that his father tried to console him, trying to make sense of his grade school children. As his mother and father begged him to explain, Xenneth was reluctant, until they promised that they would not think “oddly” of him. Xenneth would cut off the lights, stand in the middle of the room, and turn around to show his big puffy cottontail would glow a bright array of neon colors in the dark and exclaim…
“They said I was weird because my ass glowed!”
Hence the name, “BunBun-chan.”
Of course, Chiasa Hikari would snicker and try to comfort her son explaining that he most likely had two quirks (thus the lighting of his fluffy cottontail). The two were thrilled, trying to make sense of the supernatural phenomenon, but it was then that Hikaru had started to notice the weight of what he had done and what his family meant. Fearful of how Xenneth was developing his family’s quirk, one way or another, Hikaru had started to begin contact with his family once more along, demanding that he would heed their warnings. Not only that, but he desired to know more about his own Quirk along with the branch family that they never talked to.
Over the next few years, Xenneth’s thirteenth birthday, Hikaru and Chiasa’s family dynamic started to grow “distant” and “different.” Hikaru had become very far from the family, not wanting to share in what he felt was a “mistake” as he put his family he loved in danger without thinking about telling them the truth about his strange family’s dynamic. There was also, Hikari who had started to become more bullied and discouraged as his father avoided him altogether, thinking he was becoming rejected due to his strange abilities. Chiasa, not knowing what it was, pleaded for them to become close once more, only to have her cries to fall short. Hikaru would start taking jobs that were distant from the family while taking a role similar to his ancestor’s research, learning about “Spark” and just what he could do to keep his family safe.
Hikaru was too late…
Only two years had he been able to talk to the branch family and the main family. By this time, everything had begun to crumble. Hikaru and Chiasa, at odds about their future, divorced. Chiasa had made a decision to move her flower shop and her family to Tokyo along with her sister and her daughter. The combined family attempted to give them both stability for the small flower shop business and for their own broken families as Xenneth had become more of a sister with his cousin Rosetta, a distant relative originally from China that relocated constantly with her mother Chezza due to her job as an Interpol Officer and Heroine. With Chiasa caring for Xenneth and Rosetta while Chezza supported them, Hikaru felt that the new family dynamic without him was much better for the sake of Xenneth to be protected. By this time, Hikaru had learned of the complete desolation of the Main Family of Robustelli and received the family’s tome in the mail where he himself dedicated his time to working odd jobs, distant offshore places, while taking the book with him to cover his activities.
A year later, the genocide of the remnants of the Robustelli Family had begun…
History (Cont.)Certain families had become victims of villains and organized crime accidents that either decimated entire homes or assassinated single members of the family. Hikaru had realized this was not coincidental and knew it was most likely due to the tome that he received. Hikaru would take his time, studying the Scientia Scintilla Hisoria, while also checking on the movements of his family to ensure they were safe. He would even sway the attention of the organized crime families away from Tokyo as far as possible by online media outlets, cooperating with the remnants of his family, and anything else it took to keep his family safe and away from those who desired to use the research for artificial quirks. It was only out of desperation that Hikaru had agreed to meet with a certain individual in regard to his son’s education and his family’s safety: A Staff member of the prestigious U.A. High School.
Enrollment, Recommendations with reputable stamps, and even an honest letter to explain the situation; Hikaru would make a dying will letter for his son’s future to his once loving wife and the school to plead for Xenneth’s education. As a result, he felt that the school would be the best place for him to be protected while learning about his family’s history and his own self; a feat that Hikaru himself ignored due to his stubbornness. Hikaru would even take on the role of trying to keep taking attention away from his son and his family as long as he possibly could.
Public records, names and familial history, Hikaru had worked his hardest to have those things scrubbed from the world to end the genocide of his family’s legacy along with securing the future of his own.
It all came down to a moment that day of checking the mail, where Xenneth Hikari and Rosetta Lu would open the mail to find three gifts for his sixteen birthday: An acceptance letter from U.A. on recommendations, a giant tome full of formulas and data he could not even begin to comprehend, and Orchidaceae flowers (He and his mother’s favorites).

Quirk(s): Bunny Plus
Bunny Plus is a combination of the quirk “Bunny” and “Spark.” These two quirks are the result of a hereditary mutation of the Quirk which created the combination.
“Spark” is the name of a hereditary Quirk that passes to the next naturally born generation. This quirk was originally thought to be an electrical quirk due to how it manifests. However, when experimenting with this quirk, past generational users found that this quirk can be utilized many ways from lighting, electricity, magnetic and thus found that this Quirk is akin to Plasma rather than Electricity which explains its property. Thus, the use of the Quirk is found that it depends on the utilization of the user and their knowledge based on generating Plasma, a state of matter, under certain conditions.
"Spark” has been shown to manifest 100% of the time when passed down as hereditary. Thus, it stands to reason it can only be extinguished if the user has been killed before bearing children. Spark was kept was a Quirk within a certain family lineage upon discovery, and thus caused for families to vie for marriage just for the next newborn to get the quirk for the sake of utilizing its unique properties. No matter how closely controlled it was attempted to be kept under, eventually, it would belong to whomever ideas were strong enough to oppose the tyrannical safeguard of the quirk. The historical mark of one who inherited the quirk, “Spark” with another one of their quirks denotes the Quirk would be named that quirk’s name and “Plus” due to the limitless application “Spark” can have.
NOTE: Since this Quirk is passed to a generation and all the children, its manifestation is shown to have been responsible for creating one of the oldest “Clans” in Japan. This clan manifests the quirk, records it findings in a tome, and passes it down from generation to generation to accumulate the power and experience of the clan initially in the Main Branch. The tome has entries of scientific formulas and data that records the combinations of “Spark” with other quirks and the application of these formulas. Certain formulas can be used with certain quirks due to body composition and different combinations (via Quirk-type).
“Spark” is the ionization of gaseous matters that generate plasma and plasma-based energy. This usually is the ability to ionize the free particles of the elements to materialize a certain energy. When the user initiates this, it is often shown as a glow of their body that is caused by their own gases of their body becoming ionized. Since Plasma can be charged by other ions, it does well to become charged by another source of energy (in Hikari, this is Static Electricity). The use of certain ions that come from instances of electrical interference or mixture of gases usually ignites plasma energy, so lightning which usually is the result of this energy is a good spark (or in Hikari’s case, the static from his body using Bunny). So, users who have exercised their body or build up their muscles is a requirement or else it can be fatal!
Another characteristic of “Spark” which is the result of higher proficiency and relative sources, is the bending of magnetic forces through ionization. Bodies that have plasma, such as the sun itself, generates a magnetic field that can cause changes in polarity. Users, specifically who mixed Spark in the past with their quirks, can heat their bodies to ionize the air to bring about the magnetic properties for a defensive field, offensive field, or even an electromagnetic pulse. This is not the only energy since plasma is more flexible than one thinks: fire, neon, lightning also is ionization of plasma. Lightning and Magnetism being partial ionizations while Fire and Combustive properties like those of stars are full on ionizations; causing them to vary in degree on just how damaging they can be to the user ranging from loss of nutrients to full on deterioration of certain body properties (elements that would compose the flesh, elements stripped from bones such as calcium, and basis of oxygen, nitrogen, carbon which is in every inch of the body).
Bunny, a mutation quirk of Hikari, works close in conjunction with Plus. However, Bunny is the presented Quirk at best. Bunny uses the powerful leg muscles that are present in rabbits and applies them to humans. Thus, this gives Hikari all the muscular support strength of a rabbit. This also includes the keen hearing of the ears, and the two front teeth that are dominant in the devouring of tough vegetables that are a part of the diet. Bunny’s quirks are usually physical support quirks that allow for high-jumps, powerful kicks, as well and sensitive hearing. However, this also includes the drawback of the quirk, “Bunny” as well.
Weakness(es):
The weakness “Spark” is that it is a unique quirk that mutates with each generation and each quirk combined with it.
The weakness of Spark burns out the energy of the user severely, thus hindering their body! This is because the ionization process uses compound and molecular make-up of the user instead if they are not able to channel that from the environment with proper adequacy without deteriorating quickly: oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, and nitrogen are the four most common elements in the known universe, as well as within the human body. As the user pulls from these very elements, they are putting their bodies in danger! Shortness of breath, deterioration of the muscles (although temporary), and drawing those elements from the blood and fluids of the body may cause the user to waste away. This is shown in their very appearance as access to the quirk with varying scales (from a minor shock to a powerful stream of electricity to rip an area to pieces) may cause for a massive waste of the user’s body. It is only because of the user’s secondary quirk or an alternate means of energy (an example Bunny or trying to deionize a direct invasion of the body via chemicals) that the user may lessen the drawbacks if their body is strong enough to handle it. This drawback alone makes the quirk an “All-Or-Nothing” until the user strengthens themselves.
Users of “Spark” can train the Quirk to properly channel it. As Spark is a quirk that ionizes elements and chemical properties, it can shape the gases in the air along with the user’s own body to channel its abilities. However, this requires a great amount of mastery as it is the process of controlling the gases around the user to its pinnacle. In the meantime, the user can (even if not with great control or accuracy) manipulate the properties and element of their body to channel their abilities. This creates another drawback as the properties of plasma require the manipulation of the air itself, so if the user cannot master this manipulation, they cannot use projectile or emitting-based attacks (shooting lightning and magnet-based channeling) until more adequate levels (High Expert). However, the user can channel the properties of plasma through their body for physical attacks that have destructive properties (examples:
Lightning-based punches/kicks/impacts). Skillfully implored attacks can ionize the gases to allow an attack with little to no drawbacks due to these destructive attacks. Amateur-based skills and strikes with these attacks result in quick depletion of her boy or recoil damage to the limbs in a matter of two-three uses (but damage to the opponent can be severe and almost decisive). Such drawbacks become less reoccurring through finally obtaining an understanding of the elements and how to properly balance the ionization process (Mastery).
Spark also seems to limit itself depending on the Quirk it is bound to as “Plus.” For an example, Xenneth’s ability as “Bunny Plus” allows for him to manipulate and control static electricity, even though history in the tome he carries talks about users who were able to use Oxygen-based quirks to manipulate fire. Therefore, Xenneth can deal with the ionization of the air for electrical-based properties initially. This characteristically shows as the property of him being able to make the fluff of fur on his body glow as an initial trait and can later expand to electrical-based skills because of static. Although Spark is very versatile, it is still limited as Quirk would be depending on the physiology of the person as well as the Quirk it binds itself to.
Personality:
Hikari’'s past personality lacked confidence and certainty. However, due to infection overtime by a certain neurotoxin and his training, it could be said that his personality has undergone a certain shift. This is especially obvious how his smiles are gentle and consistent. He even shows some perverse smirks and smiles upon inspecting elements. It could be said that the rabbit lacks the previous fear. If anything, he welcomes uncertainty due to it heightening his expectation of something surprising and painful...but pleasurable!
Xenneth no longer thinks of things such as heroism. Due to his time spent with his sensei and his corruption, the rabbit has started to think more or less about the expectation of the unknown. With him constantly exploring, Xenneth approaches things with a shameful or even flirtatious kind of attitude. Thus, he seems to phrase things in a very grotesque or even vile manner, and seems to show some joy while doing so. However, this does not mean he is without sensitivity.
Truth be told, the rabbit's sensitive side still exists within his care for his friends. As he was taught, the rabbit is to care for "family, " Xenneth approaches his relationships with people who her particularly care for to be just that. With his vile personality, he shows a promiscuous closeness with others, insisting on violating space, but also interfering with matters simply because of his concern. Although he is more intrusive, it is actually a show of his earnest feelings that he cares for someone: even though it is perverted by machinations.
In more crucial moments, Xenneth expresses a domineering personality and represents himself as "Orchidaceae," a wicked flower of the Grande Familia Mafia rather than a student of U.A. This is mostly due to how his personality is shaped by the toxin as well as his training as he even refers to his Sensei as "mother." Corruption and manipulation at its utmost, Xenneth is completely loyal to his heart, seemingly showing that he often seems to have an honest agenda, but it reality, it may be something completely different.
