John Many of the stratagems seem to be techniques of arguing that we have learned from experience, but it's interesting to see them spelled out with explanation of how they work.

And honestly the stratagems that aim at just making your opponent look like a fool are kinda funny.

I did find this to be one of his more entertaining works.

I want to point out that I've recently read Euthydemus by Plato, and it seems to cover the same point as this one (I also found it entertaining as well). That is, there are ways that "philosophers", and people in general, can get so caught up in "winning" and others "losing" that they get sidetracked from the pursuit of truth itself.
