The wizard of eartsea won this months poll.
We will start 26th and because of the timing this will be our last author read of the year.

Started this on saturday. picking it up and putting it down now and again. Honestly not impressed.

Haven't started it yet. Didn't have time before I started my Christmas reading, and want to enjoy that first.

So, I finally got around to reading the book. I enjoyed it more than you did, Oda. It wasn't amazing or anything, but... Well, here's my review:

A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin

My rating: 4 of 5 stars


This was a pretty good read. It didn't grab my attention and hold it fast or anything, but I did enjoy it once I got in to it. It's quite slow-paced though, so if you like your fantasy to be fast-paced and action-packed, this probably isn't for you. Like I said though, I thought it was a pretty good read.
