Méliane (meliane) | 6 comments Hello! I discovered Mount TBR earlier this year but I didnt take part. I only a read a dozen of my own books this year even if I have about 200 unread books on my shelves. Ouch.

A big chunk of my TBR shelf is made of French classics I stole from my dad so each month I will read from one French literary period. Other than that I won't restrict myself too much; I will read 12 other classics during the year and I won't set a number of books each month, as long as my average is at least 5 of my own books read every month.

Méliane (meliane) | 6 comments Not the best start to the year... to accomplish my goal I need to read 5 books a month and in January I only read three.

The Emperor of All Maladies A Biography of Cancer by Siddhartha Mukherjee Pantagruel by François Rabelais Grave Mercy (His Fair Assassin, #1) by Robin LaFevers

I'm currently reading another one so I'm 1.5 books behind schedule.

Leslie Not to worry -- a temporary deficit can be easily be made up.

Méliane (meliane) | 6 comments Yup and if i even get too far behind ill jump in my comics TBR

Méliane (meliane) | 6 comments Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov Redeployment by Phil Klay The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman The Island of Doctor Moreau by H.G. Wells A Princess in Theory (Reluctant Royals, #1) by Alyssa Cole

In February I completed 5 books so I'm no more behind than I was at the end of January. I didn't track how many of my backlist books I was reading this month so for March I'm going to try a more structured TBR by pulling a couple of books off my shelves and placing them with my library loans. I'm hoping that my the end of the first quarter I'll be back on track, or even ahead.
