Rin figures that it’d be a good day to go out for a walk. After all, the sky was a cheerful blue and there wasn’t a dark cloud in sight. If there was such a cloud in the sky, Rin would actually sprint back to the safety of inside. It would be a nightmare if a top swimmer were suddenly flap around like a fish. She could never live it down. Huffing a loose strand of dark hair away from her face, Rin rounded the corner and luckily, missed someone. She did not miss the next person, however. Her notepads littered the cement as she bent down to grab what were hers. “Agh,” She scowled, throat going dry from the sheer miscalculation on her part. She should’ve anticipated this. But when Rin looked up, she was completely surprised. It was little sweet Delilah. With her pixie-like features, she was very hard to miss in class. She was perfection while Rin was a murky mess. “I’m sorry. It’s all my fault,” she said gruffly, definitely not helping the situation at all.

To her delight, today had been a pretty easy day for her. There was nothing that stumped her, and things went by smoothly. Not to mention, the weather was quite perfect with it's blue skies and bright sun. It were days like these that she enjoyed the most; they made her feel more happy and joyful than usual. Compared to rainy days where she often felt gloomy and even bored. At the same time though, the fairy knew that rain always brought good things - like beautiful plants. Still, she choose sunny days over cloud-filled-skies any day.

Walking further down, Delilah minded her own business, hugging her books close to her chest as usual. Her glasses rested easily on the bridge of her nose and her short, blonde hair bounced lightly as she walked. As far as she was aware, the fairy had no current plans right now - so she wasn't in much of a hurry nor really paying attention. Suddenly, though, Delilah was brought to an abrupt stop when she felt somebody run into her. She let out a surprised yelp, dropping a book or two of her own in result of the collision.

Blinking her baby blue eyes, she focused on the situation at hand, her eyes averting toward the other person who she had come into contact with. She seemed to be picking up her notes that currently littered the floor. This reminded Delilah of her own things, kneeling down and collecting her books that she had dropped. She also picked up a couple of the notepads that the other girl had dropped, figuring she could use some help. Delilah then stood up straight again, handing her the papers she had picked up, offering a weak smile.

Studying the girl for a second, she began to recognize her as one of the girls in her class. She didn't know her super well, but knew that her name was Rin and she was pretty straight forward with things - basically the opposite of Delilah. A light blush formed across her pale-skinned and freckled cheeks, "Oh no, please, I should've been paying more attention," she told her, waving her hand in protest.

Rin raised her eyebrow skeptically. Was she serious? No, she couldn’t be. Anyone with a brain would totally argue against Rin, not Delilah. Never Delilah. Rin collected the remainder of her books and handed Delilah hers. She was wrong about Delilah, she wasn’t just pixie-like, she definitely was. Rin wouldn’t put it past her if Delilah suddenly announced she was an actual fairy. “Are you naturally this apologetic?” Rin suddenly said sternly. There was just no way. How could anyone be like that and not explode?

Taking her books back from Rin, she gave a friendly thank you. From there, Delilah wasn't totally sure what she should do next. should she say goodbye and carry on with her day? This seemed to be a common problem for the fairy; she was always pretty awkward. Luckily, though, the girl spoke up and asked her a question. Except, the question caused Delilah to fluster up lightly, feeling some heat rise to her freckled cheeks.

The fairy had to think about it, trying to come up with an answer. "Uh, probably. It kinda just comes naturally, I think," she replied, giving a short yet heartwarming laugh afterwards. Nobody had asked Delilah a question like that, so it caught her off guard for a second. Now that she did think about it - really how apologetic was she? Either way, knowing her own clumsily-ness, 99% its her fault.

Deciding to continue the conversation, and not wanting to seem like the type who hated talking to others, Delilah spoke up. "Your names Rin, right?" she asked, her voice genuine and calming as she spoke.

“Well you should probably stop. You won’t get anywhere in life if you keep apologizing to everyone.” She seriously couldn’t figure the pixie girl out. Delilah was known for being a compliant person but Rin had yet to see it for herself. “Yeah, why? You thought my name was Patricia or something?”

((I’m sorry if this is flat. If they are going to become buddies, should we have them work on a project together?))
