This whole place was weird. Not in just the sense of the strange cliques of teenagers that hung around, but the very feeling of this place, it gave her a sensation of uneasiness, and comfort at the exact same time. This lady, was the icing on the cake. What type of adult was this happy, besides Michal, who by the look on his face, was clearly enjoying this entire experience. Even Vincent had a crack of a smile there. Hesitantly grabbing the booklet handed to her, she looked through the texts and pictures, seriously, unimpressed.
As her braids hung in front of her face, Felix felt a hot burn in her throat, she tapped her foot, for once her life anxious to know what exactly was going on here. During her two whole years of Warwick, she had seen some strange things. Felix wasn't a fool, she didn't know much about this place, but for once people didn't look at her strange as she had a conversation with a wild and random deer. "So, what exactly are you?" Both her fathers immediately stood up scolding their child. "We are so, so sorry Principal Darzi for her behavior." Felix didn't mean to offensuve, and pure curiosity was written on her face.
Serious who was this woman? Her principal gave off this powerful auroa of magic, she didn't know what magic, but as a nymph she realised that there had to be more of her out there. And with the sly look that her pricipal had given her, she realised that it wasn't just her after all, and that there were more than she probably wanted to know. Who knew, maybe this school wouldn't be that bad after all. In her free time, Felix studied more to find out exactly what she was, in result she learned more about other species as well.
Michal's phone alarm went of indicating the time to go to work. "I'm so sorry, but Vincent and I are needed is it all right if we leave?" Not exactly waiting for an answer Vincent grabbed his husband's hand before walking out the door. With a nod of respect, she realised that they really were leaving her alone with this woman. Eyeing her cautiously, she didn't even look at her parents as they left still confused as to what this woman was.
"seventeen."
Messing around with the multiple rings on her fingers, she didn't make any eye contact with her at all. "junior." Her feet were shuffling in her seat, and she didn't understand why this woman had winked at her. There could be multiple reasons, either she had seen the strange things too, or she was a strange thing, or even worse, she was some type of weird bounty hunter that kept her finds in this high school like some bee keeper.
As all these irrational thoughts ran through her head, Felix did her best to keep calm on the outside, which frankly wasn't as hard as she hsd thought, seeing as her face almost never moved unless she was aware of it, and/or feeking extreme and intense emotions. As the principal spoke again, she noticed that her voice almost felt like hiney, it coated her anxiety, and calmed her worries, an eyebrows slightly raised hearing the age of one-hundred-and-fifty year old witch. She knew that she was a nymph as well. And of course, her fathers had told her, out of concern or just because she wasn't sure, but the moment she mentioned her fathers the slightest smirk appeared on her lips. "no offense principal darzi," her words always felt as though it were a whisper, like wind rustling tree leaves in the fall. "but even with others like me, i'm not exactly sure those enjoy my type of... gardening."
Brave enough to admit to growing her own strains, yet too shy to actually raise her voice, it was true, Felix was strange, but she didn't actually care who knew, it was more of a medical thing. Whenever she seemed to get out of hand, she always ended up completely destroying something or demolishing a good part of the town, coma for days, weeks maybe. Was it legal? She didn't know or care, but she knew that socializing was no somethi g she was fond of. Whenever there were too many people panic attacks happened, and well... "principal darzi? would it be fine if during lunch i sat in here?" it sounded kind of lame, a junior asking to escape from lunch by sitting in the principal's office, hell she'd even take dention if it meant less people, but she meant it. the teenager allow a somewhat hopefull look to appear on her face.
Social anxiety controlled many things in Felix's life. How much she talked, where she went, wheter or not she even went out side, and even if she was going out to eat. The small things, the interesting part was that her parents were the exact opposite, they treated everything like a celebration, they were quite the duo actually. Optimistic and a realist, yet they loved each other beyond belief. Still, Felix was obviously not at that spot in her life, or didn't ever think she would be, especially as she walked down the hall towards the prinicpals office, her muted grey hoodie covering her braids, and covering the bright yellow shirt on her chest, and the denim pencil skirt. With her head hanging low, her backpack on the edge of her left shoulder, and her lunch tray in her right hand, she opened the door and turned towards the desk unsurprised seeing that it was empty.
Her deadpan face only changed in the slighest as she noticed a lively looking girl on the other side of the room immersed in her own lunch. Felix was unprepared to see another living being, in such close proximity, as she checked her pockets for her earbuds, she felt defeated when she realised that only her pipe was in her pocket, and her earbuds were unfortunately in her locker. In the confusion of the bell and the many people cramming through the hallways, she had switched them out. Clearly they felt different, but there was a certain type of numbness that Felix forced herself into whenever there were too many people around. Sitting in the corner of the office, she bit into her apple, from the plate full of veggies and some mysterious burger placed in the centere of her tray.
Seeing a tail was certainly new for her, but like everything, it wasn't something that really left her conscience bothered. Everything kind always felt numb all the time, and unless she was numb, she felt anxious or irritated, both feelings that led to danger. So otherwise Felix was okay with not really feeling, anything, in fact she would probably be someone who most considered boring. Yet as she looked up towards the girl's face, she swore it got hotter in here. It was probably her jacket, anyways. Though as their hands made contact as she passed the note, she knew it definitely was not the temperature. Luckily, her face remained unmoving, she took it and sat her lunch on her lap, looking up occasionally to glance at Toni? Was it?
Taking off the hoodie, she revealed an outfit choice that definately didn't match the expression that she had most of the time. There were live flowers in her hair, the stems intertwined with the reddish-brown of her braids, the freckles that decorated her face gave off a friendly vibe, except for those dirt colortled eyes of hers. They looked eerily empty, as if there was nobody inside of the skin she was in.
Digging through her backpack, she hoped that there was something that could keep her occupied in this room, and aparently being on her phone when conversation could be made was considered, "rude" so, she took out a small pill container that carried two nuggets of the last sativa, she followed the procedure of lighting her pipe before inhaling a deep breath, and blowing the smoke into the room. She didn't care that someone else was in here, even if the principal was in here, she'd still do it. The disappointment of her peers was not something that she was concerned about.
This was certainly new, someone wanted to talk to her. Evem after choking on the smoke she was putting out. It was almost something to laugh at really. Without answering, she got up and turn on the minifan on the desk, placing it towards the smoke to help slightly. Most didn't enjoy the smell of weed, and she couldn't really blame them either. It smelled very earthy. To her in the best way, but apparently it could also smell like garbage to others.
To her pleasent surprise, she still wanted to interract with her, even if she had accidentally blown smoke in her face. Seeing as Toni here had done at least something to continue this onesided conversation, she finally answered. "do you know how to smoke?" Felix asked raising an eyebrow, she did have many more containers of the plant, but she had to work jobs for the money she got to buy this. Sometimes her parents would help out, but not often, she wasn't a rich kid, just an only child.
Her voice was quiet and timid, very much unlike the girl across from her. She lived up to her expectation, and with a smirk on her face, that didn't reach her eyes, she calmly gave instructions on how to use it before lighting the bowl. "alright.. now deep breath in. hold it... now let it out."
Hearing her laugh, there was a small bubbling sensation in Felix's stomach, this was certainly new, and hadn't happened before. Sure she had experienced butterflies before, but they usually had anxiety attached to every single wing, it felt as though her heart was being moved around until it got shoved up her throat. Not a good feeling. This though, this was a great feeling. She felt a bit light headed, then again it could have been the weed, but it usually didn't do this to her.
Felix was an idiot, she knew what she was looking at, but she didn't exactly know how to react to that. Staring made the girl grow nervous, but her eyes were such a gorgeous color that she almost wanted her to keep at it. "yeah, that was weed. sativa specifically." Her vision wandered over towards the tail that wavered in the air, like the cat tails by the lake.
It didn't take long for Felix to get hungry, of course eating sobered her up and being high was great, but her stomach growled in snnoyance, she hadn't even really touched her lunch. Grabbing the burger from off of her plate, she ate it with a deadpaned look on her face before catching a look see at Toni. It was almost adorable watching her stare up at the ceiling. She remembered the first time she had gotten high, it left a smile on her face just like that.

It was interesting watching her move and do things, in fact the only thing that would make this experience better is if she had music playing over the speakers, everything felt better with music. The moment she looked away to keep eating, there the girl was, her tail swishing in mid-air, it was kind of.. cute. Of course the questions she had askee was not what she expected at all. She felt a bit flustered and immediately what came out of her mouth was a bit louder than usual. "GAY." Clearing her throught she felt a bit hotter, and had to look away for a moment. She hadn't understood the question, at least she didn't think so.
What if she had been asking about what type of monster she was, that would have been interesting as well. What if she thought that she was weird now? Toni would orobably never want to talk to her again, and she wouldn't really blame her. Felix was strange, and any hopes she had gotten, that made her want to keep talking to this girl were gone. This first time in years she had an actual conversation with someone outside her family, and it was this. Way to go Felix.

When she hadn't seen Toni back off, and instead started laughing as if she had said something funny, she felt as if she was walking on air. This girl was amazing. Was she laughing at her? Was this... teasing? If so, it was almost enjoyable. Continuing to eat her sandwhich, she watched as her cheeks diferent hues of pink and red, and for a moment she was afraid that she would start choking on air. Was... was she crying? This was certainly new, and she wasn't sure how she felt about it. She just knew it wasn't bad.
Of course! She was an idiot wasn't she? "o-oh. i'm a nymph. y'know, like trees and shit." She murmured, a small blush appearing on her cheeks. "i grow my own succulents." Looking off to the sides she felt so stupid, but glad that it wasn't awkward between the two of them. She would probably want to die if she had made Toni feel uncomfortable. She wasn't exactly a were-anything, but Felix would swear up and down that her ears picked up on what she said, amplifying it through her mind as if it had cleared out just to hear that one sentence. "well if you are gay as hell.. and i'm gay as hell, would you maybe put your number in my phone and come over to see my succulents... sometimes? only if you want though."
Seeing Toni reach her hand out to touch her hsir was something that made her tense up. In general people touching her hair definitely some type of trigger towards a negative emotion, culturally it was somewhat a sign of disrespect especially if they didn't ask, and she was going to raise her voice to say something, but the moment she did, she realised that she was super close, and she smelled like flowers naturally. Felix also didn't forget about the tail that was resting on her leg either, the touch had been sending spikes through her body.
She smiled as she for once began to blush, Felix felt a smile appear on her lips, the girl who always had something to say had become tounge tied. It was adorable. Before Felix could even answer her question, a leopard was in front of front of her, it was scary, yet the nymph in her was absolutely in love. Hesitant, she reached forward to let Toni sniff her hand. "do you do this everytime you get flustered?" She asked.
Feeling the purr rumble throughout the entire room as if it were a big hollow drum. Slowly coming down from the chair she was on, she dropped towards her knees took look into the gorgeous almost tangerine eyes, of the werecat in front of her. Moving her hands towards her ears, she began to scratch behind them, in that one little indent behind the ears and it was so soft. Growing a small little daisies, she pulled her hands back and began to tie them together into a gorgeous crown of flowers. "you know... you never gave me your number." She murmured. The texture of her spotted fur was so soft, and almost like silk. she doesn't get flustered? "lying isn't good for the soul you know." Felix chuckled taking the pipe that was on the floor and put it back into her pocket. Was lunch over?
The hair thing? Oh, the flowers, it was fine. It was nice to have her that close and just there, she smelled great and maybe her skin felt as soft as her fur. "i'm sure i would love to take you to a field to eat some grass?" Stroking her head was somewhat therapudic for Felix. She wanted to just take a nap here in this room. "i could give you some to eat? maybe come over sometime?"
Looking at her gave her heart a mini attack, it had only taken somewhat of an hour for Felix to grow to like and talk to this person. It was strange, people didn't make an effort to get to know her, and she didn't try to know them either, but here she was having a conversation with the girl who had just transformed into a jungle animal. Right before she had even turned back into, more or less, human, she had licked her hand, causing Felix's cheeks to turn a bashful shade of bubblegum pink, "i-i suppose i won't take you there on a date." A date? Well it certainly wasn't what she had kn mjnd but it wasn't like she would say that aloud, plus, a date with Toni sounded more than nice.
Felix quickly realised that her hands were still in her hair, and she swiftly removed them, before messing around with the crown she had made. Maybe socializing wouldn't be such a bad thing after all. "i'm a nypmh remember?" She gave a faint smile before placing it on the girl's head, she was beautiful, and she didn't even care if she skipped the rest of the day, Toni had her full attention. Taking her phone, she added her number and Warwick Web information sending a direct message to her.
Hearing the bell ring was about the worst part of her day, lunch felt like being on cloud nine, yet here she was about to go to a class she had no feelings for, that let the numbness inside of her grow, instead of staying here and talking to her than even leave this room. Most didn't have good memories associated with the principal's office, but Felix had the feeling that she would have good memories about this school for awhile.
Grabbing her stuff, she picked up her jacket and backpack, pulling out a small cylinder bottle of strong perfume. She didn't want to offend the principal's nose when she got back. Soft smiles were passed between then until they both left the principal's office smelling of weed, animal fur, and the scent of flowers. "so, saturday?"
