Kate S | 6459 comments Read any book with an average rating over 3.74 AND under 1001 ratings. (3.75/1000)

Please post any questions or comments about task 20.10.

Rosemary | 4323 comments Please can I have this one locked in, because it's dead on 3.75:
The Sleeping Beauty by Elizabeth Taylor

Elizabeth (Alaska) Got it!

And Rosemary presents the "good" problem. Please, if you have a title you want to read for this task and either the average rating is at or within a point or two of 3.75 OR the total ratings are in the high 990s, please post the title here to lock it in.

Karin I've already read this and may read it again because I love it, but for those looking, here is a literary award winning (so style points, not sure about combo points as I haven't looked) book that I loved and is 4.11 rating-wise, Republic of Dirt: A Return to Woefield Farm.

You don't absolutely have to read the first book first, although it is a sequel. It won a humour award.

Karen Michele Burns (klibrary) | 5291 comments I'm attending the National Winter Conference of the library association in Seattle at the end of January and attending an event where these four author's will present. Some of their new books aren't yet published, but I will probably get ARCs at the event for those that aren't out yet. All 4 qualify here at this point and I would like to get any that can be approved (due to pub dates) locked in.

She Would Be King published 9/18
Beautiful Bad ARC
The Paris Diversion
The Seven or Eight Deaths of Stella Fortuna
