So, I picked up this book from my shelf on Saturday and was hooked after 3 pages..but then I was geting Cli-Fi vibes so iput it down to save for challenge. Do you think it will work????The Age of Miracles

That one looks like it *might,* but there’s also no real reference to climate change as the cause from what I can tell. It looks more like scientists have no idea why the changes are happening. I think in cli-fi there are more direct ties to the climate change aspects of why.

I read Watermelon Snow last year and thought it was great! A suspenseful, engaging, environmental thriller. It's free on Kindle unlimited, or $2.99 to buy the kindle book.

I just ordered Flight Behavior by Barbara Kingsolver also. I live in Middle Tennessee, and my daughter just studied The Poisonwood Bible by Kingsolver last semester, so it seemed a proper fit.

I ended up reading Dry by Neal Shusterman
It was a very believable premise of a California community's water supply running dry! It's a YA book, so there's a lot of teen dialogue which I had a little trouble engaging with, but the pacing/action of the story was good.

I'm really struggling with this prompt. I've picked up several books and started them but nothing that is really holding my interest. I have bailed on everything. I generally read these genres YA, historical fiction, general fiction, juvenile/ middlegrade fiction. Any other suggestions? Thank you for any help you can offer.
