✓ Did you find it fun or was it more of a chore to complete? Fun. I don't know that I read any MORE than I normally would have, but paid more attention to the time spent reading.
✓ Is this your first time participating in a Read-a-Thon? This was my first time participating in a RAT, and I'd definitely do it again. Might even keep tracking time casually during the course of this RAT, just for fun.
✓ Did you choose RAT books in advance? If so, were you able to read all of the books you'd set aside? yes - I did make a list of books in advance. A couple of titles I ended up reading before the RAT started, and some I didn't get to before finishing the RAT.
✓ Did you have a favorite, quiet reading spot? For ebooks, curled up in bed. For audiobooks, my car on the drive home, or in the kitchen while cooking/baking.
✓ Did you find it difficult to stick to your reading schedule? Nope - I pretty much just read when/how I'd normally read, but paid attention to time spent.
✓ Did you discover a new series, author or genre? New series - the Jane Austen mysteries. Had been on my TBR for a while, and this was a great opportunity to do it.
✓ Did you read alone or with partner? Alone. Though it is not uncommon for my sweetie to be reading at the same time I am, there was no 'official' partner reading for the RAT.
✓ Which book format(s) did you use for your RAT? A mix of formats - ebook (Kindle) and audiobooks (Overdrive from the library)

✓ Is this your first time participating in a Read-a-Thon? No, this was my second time; I've participated in last years Read-a-Thon as well.
✓ Did you choose RAT books in advance? If so, were you able to read all of the books you'd set aside? I did make a list in advance and read a couple of titles from it, but also ended up reading a couple of books I didn't plan for.
✓ Did you have a favorite, quiet reading spot? Mainly the couch.
✓ Did you find it difficult to stick to your reading schedule?If so, how'd ya overcome it? No problems at all.
✓ Did you discover a new series, author or genre? No, I pretty much continued on with series I had started previously.

✓ Is this your first time participating in a Read-a-Thon? If so, would you participate again or was once is enough? If not, how did this year's RAT compare? this is the first time. I tried once before, but didn't keep track and so quit. This time was better.
✓ Did you choose RAT books in advance? If so, were you able to read all of the books you'd set aside? I chose my books and then read different books.
✓ Did you have a favorite, quiet reading spot? I just read wherever!
✓ Did you find it difficult to stick to your reading schedule? If so, how'd ya overcome it?No, I read everyday any way. Just had to remember to keep track.
✓ Did you discover a new series, author or genre? Yes, I did!
✓ Did you read alone or with partner?Alone
✓ Which book format(s) did you use for your RAT? I always read ebooks and I'm too slow a listener to count for this!

✓ Number of days/hours spent reading: 25 hours over 4 days.
✓ Number and/or list of books read: One finished compilation of shorts, plus got into The Immortal Crown, The Time Traveller's Wife and Throne of Glass.

✓ Did you find it fun or was it more of a chore to complete? It was fun, but hard to find time to sit and read without being disturbed.
✓ Is this your first time participating in a Read-a-Thon? If so, would you participate again or was once is enough? If not, how did this year's RAT compare? My first time. I would do it again but wait for school holidays when I have more time to myself.
✓ Did you choose RAT books in advance? If so, were you able to read all of the books you'd set aside? I just picked up books I was already reading.
✓ Did you have a favorite, quiet reading spot? In bed, listeneing to the storms.
✓ Did you find it difficult to stick to your reading schedule? If so, how'd ya overcome it? I didn't set a schedule, I just read when I got the chance.

✓ Is this your first time participating in a Read-a-Thon? If so, would you participate again or was once is enough? If not, how did this year's RAT compare? No, did this last year but think this year felt better about the results
✓ Did you choose RAT books in advance? If so, were you able to read all of the books you'd set aside? No, just decided I was going to use this to catch up on a few series and clean up some of the novellas that were added to the series
✓ Did you have a favorite, quiet reading spot? No, just read anywhere I can find a few moments of time. Lunch break at work outside is the best.
✓ Did you find it difficult to stick to your reading schedule? If so, how'd ya overcome it? No, always have kindle, iPad or phone on hand.
✓ Did you discover a new series, author or genre? Started Kresley Cole's Arcana series, dystopian and good so far

Well, I kept forgetting to track the time and sometimes forgot to record it until I did much later.

This was my first time. I will participate again, but should probably plan better!

I had some possible choices. But, I only managed to read 1 book among them. The rest all impulsive reads.

Nope. As long I could read at a stretch, anywhere worked fine.
✓ Did you find it difficult to stick to your reading schedule? If so, how'd ya overcome it?
I did not manage a schedule. I simply read whenever I found time at length.

Yes, I loved Steel and Song and Going Down in Flames, both of which were first books in a new to me series and both authors were new to me too.
✓ Did you read alone or with partner?
Alone. I NEVER read with a partner!

I should plan to try and do a 2 day one and take the days off from work and just read. Wonder if I would get more or less done?

I finished a series (fist pump); read a book one I didn't love (bummer), read a book I never would have picked for myself and LOVED it Loving Jay and started another 2 series that I will continue - not great but I liked them well enough to want to know what happens
