I've just finished Death Tour and it was awesome. I wonder if there are more horror novels about doomed urban exploration tours. Creepers by David Morrell falls into the same category.

The second half of Tom Deady's Backwater is a lot like Creepers.

Yes, of course, provided there are horror elements to them.

Thanks, James, I didn't even know Creepers had a sequel.

I know there are quite a few Urban Legends and r/creepypasta definitely has a lot of urban-exploration-gone-wrong stuff, however, I can't think of a single book that fits both the Horror & UE bill. What I can recommend is the movie As Above, So Below by John Erick Dowdle. It is quite intense and follows a bunch of doomed tourists and locals as they descend below the city of Paris.

Yep, Scavenger. Scavenger hunts and time capsules are the linchpins for that. Also, straight thriller with almost no horror elements. Still, most Morrell is worth a read.

John | 26 comments The Prisoner of Hell Gate This is the only one I can think of right now. I thought it was pretty good.
It is kind of suprising there are not more novels with an urbex theme.
