All Challenges All The Time discussion

Hi Everyone!

As a new year approaches, you will soon begin to see a few organizational changes:

(1) I will begin archiving old challenges by sections rather than by year (as it has been done in the past). For example, the monthly challenges will be archived in the "Archived - Monthly Challenges" folder, rather than in a general folder titled "Archives - 2019".

I am moving one of the regular challenges. Beginning with the upcoming January 2019 challenge, the Member S*P*E*L*L Challenges will be located in the Spell Out Challenges folder instead of the 2-6 Month Challenges folder as it has been in the past.

(2) Beginning in January 2019, the open ended challenges will have a specific deadline to sign up. For example, if I post an open ended challenge that begins March 1, 2019, the deadline to sign up for the challenge would be March 1, 2020. Important Note - Please Read: This does not mean a member cannot work the challenge. However, links will not be set up after the deadline. Participants who sign up after the deadline would need to bookmark their challenge for easy access when updating. These challenge threads will remain open so that participants can continue to post their updates as they work through the challenge.

These organization ideas came from the ladies over at the Crazy Challenge Connection group, and they have graciously allowed me to use them.

HEADS UP! SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE

Goodreads will have reduced functionality beginning the evening of December 31 through the afternoon of January 1st (PST) for required maintenance.

Hi gang! I posted this in a couple of my other groups, but it looks like I forgot to do so here.

I'm going to be on vacation August 15 - August 22, and I will not have desk top access during that time. I will have my phone with me, but not alot of time to check in. So just be patient with me during that week - I promise I'll get back to everyone as quickly as I can.

Hi everyone! I wanted to let you know, I'll be doing a little bit of moving around to make things more organized and easier to manage.

The Mixed Duration and Open Ended challenges sections will now be combined into one, and all of those active challenges will be found under the Mixed Duration/Open Ended Challenges section.

Let me know if you can't find something though :)
