the writing spot discussion

So I got an idea, while most if not all of us here write to some degree, why don't we have a spot where we can share our writings, books we're working on, short stories and whatever else you may write?


Let other's get the chance to check them out, and give you feed back on it.

The only requests we have on this topic is that you do your feed back rather good or bad in a respective manner an that you don't steal each other's ideas.

Other then that, please post away. Threads to your writing on here, or other sites and read away!

I'm keen on this Cassie. I've been doing quite a bit of reviewing for other people over the last few months, and I'm keen to get the first third of my novel beta-read (the first 18,000 words roughly), I'm still working on the rest, but the first act is in a rough but more or less presentable state now. Would be good to know how people feel about it before moving on. It's a cynical sci-fi adventure/romance. It's not published anywhere, except the first chapter, which is on "The Next Big Writer" critique website. It got good feedback.

Hopefully by summer I'll have the book I wrote for NaNo ready and might post some of it on here for feedback. It's a steampunk-ish fantasy about war and the two main characters are aro\ace (the rep is own-voices)
