Read a Library Staff Pick

I saw "I'll be Gone in the Dark" by Michelle McNamara in the display of library staff picks and I was already reading it, so that will be my book for this. I am almost finished and it's really fascinating. It's horrible what this man did, but since he has now been caught and wasn't at the time the book finished it's neat comparing how close they were. Some of the early hunches were spot on. I'm really interested how people found the clues and what they thought of each thing.
I read the book Homegoing last year, so I can't include it on my list for this year but I highly recommend it! It was a great book, one of my favorites that I read last year.
OMG those are both two of my FAVORITE books from last year! Annalisa, IBGITD was fascinating to read while the investigation was being publicized. And Homegoing was sprawling and all-encompassing and heartbreaking and so many more things. I'm so glad you both enjoyed them as much as I did.
I read IQ mostly because I saw it on the first staff pick table and I was able to download it via Overdrive. (I had to look it up to remind me what it was about....no memory here). I gave it 3 stars so I enjoyed it. Time to own up. Whose pick was it?
