Lindsay | 80 comments Discussion for Munro and Kereny's book. I do not believe there is a description yet but she just sent out a newsletter with the date. I think the title is just MUNRO. The tentative release date for MUNRO is MAY 28th.

Lulu (lulululu) | 268 comments Great news! Thank you so much!

message 4: by Ela (new)

Ela | 12 comments I got the newsletter as well but if you look at the series Munro was supposed to be after the next one?

message 5: by Lindsay (new)

Lindsay | 80 comments @Ela. Originally on Goodreads Shadow's Kiss (Kosmina's book) was labeled as #19 and Munro's book was #20, but now they have switched and Munro's book is #19 in the IAD series.

message 6: by Lulu (new)

Lulu (lulululu) | 268 comments Lindsay, thanks! I'm super happy to finally find out what the heck happened to Munro. Last I recall, he had materialized in some cellar and was taken captive and his shrewish (harpy?) mate was nearby. ..... I really do need to do a re-read of this series.

message 7: by Lindsay (new)

Lindsay | 80 comments @Lulu. Just reread the epilogue of MacRieve. That's the set up for Munro's book.

message 8: by Lulu (new)

Lulu (lulululu) | 268 comments Will do, I miss those Lykae though so I might have to read the entire book.

message 9: by Khrystyna (new)

Khrystyna | 37 comments I could hardly believe my eyes when I read the newsletter! Just as I seem to stop expecting it, BAM! sooooo excited.

message 10: by Gim (new)

Gim | 38 comments Oh, thank heavens! I was beginning to despair of ever getting this book. Can't wait.

message 11: by Black_White (new)

Black_White (black_white_2) | 8 comments I was so afraid he had died and I was so mad when he didn't come up again in the later books. What newsletter?

1,2,3,4,5 months away...
Way too long away.

message 15: by Kayla (new)

Kayla | 1 comments I recently re-read Macrieve and absolutely hated the way things ended with Munro! I NEED to know more!! I have read and re-read all of the IAD books at least 5 or 6 times (no joke, I keep going back). Very interested in seeing what his and Kereny's story will be! I have been patiently waiting the next installment - which is also why I go back and read them all over again, to keep myself up-to-date, and because there are something things I somehow miss or all together forget about! Looking forward to the updates

CONCUR to everything you've said. Right now I'm re-reading her Gamemaker Series just to keep myself occupied.

message 17: by ☽ Rhiannon ✭ (new)

☽ Rhiannon ✭ Mistwalker ☾ (pnr_list) I really should do an IAD re-read, at least starting a few books back - it's been getting to be so long between books, I am forgetting all about characters and storylines.

message 18: by Lindsay (new)

Lindsay | 80 comments There's a podcast called Fated Mates that is all about the IAD series and the two hosts are doing a read-along of the series. I think they just did an episode on the third or fourth book. Kresley Cole sent out a link in her latest newsletter and I think she posted it on Twitter as well.

message 19: by Michaela (last edited Jan 23, 2019 05:03AM) (new)

Michaela | 13 comments New speculation: I might have a feeling why KC made it so Munro comes out after a few books - remember, Kereny was bitten. I think she's setting out a timeframe where Kereny would need adjusting as a Lykae (remember turned Lykaes don't always come out okay?.. That is if she really does become a Lykae) And by the time their story finishes, the entire storyline comes together. Just my two cents. I've noticed this pattern in her other books where the book's plot is a bit isolated to the H/h and in the end, it catches up to everything...

Anyway, this is the perfect excuse to reread all the books. Again. Lemme just be shameless in admitting I always come back to IAD if I run out of things to read LOL

message 20: by Lulu (new)

Lulu (lulululu) | 268 comments That's a good point and I think you are likely correct! I just did a quick re-read of MacRieve (so wish there was another cover for that book) and Kereny is definitely going to need some time to recover. She hates Munro though *sniff sniff*. I know she won't at the end but still . . .

message 21: by Lindsay (new)

Lindsay | 80 comments I actually have a theory that Kereny won't have as much trouble controlling her inner beast as the other turned humans, because she is older than Munro.

Wait why do you wish MacRieve had another cover?

message 23: by Lulu (new)

Lulu (lulululu) | 268 comments I just don't like it lolol! It doesn't look like him (to me). :)

K-Gorgeous | 56 comments Lindsay wrote: "I actually have a theory that Kereny won't have as much trouble controlling her inner beast as the other turned humans, because she is older than Munro."

Older than him? I thought she was about 21?

I also thought that there would be a timelapse if she would have to adjust to being a Lykea. In addition to that, I thought that she might pull 'a Lucia' on Munro. I would assume that she would want some distance from him after he turned her. I also expect Darach Lyka to appear in their book and maybe help with controlling the newly turned Lykea maybe? I just want this book to be out sooner than later.

message 25: by Sarah Marie (new)

Sarah Marie | 36 comments "Michaela wrote: "I just don't like it lolol! It doesn't look like him (to me). :) "

HA HA! I get it. I hate Lothaire's hair in his cover. So much.

message 26: by Lulu (new)

Lulu (lulululu) | 268 comments So funny, I love the Lothaire cover!

message 27: by Sarah Marie (new)

Sarah Marie | 36 comments I think the guy is super hot! But that haaaaaaair. lol. It just makes me think of a bowl-cut. I know that doesn't make any sense. But I can't help it.

message 28: by Lindsay (new)

Lindsay | 80 comments @GorgeousBliss
If I'm remembering right in the epilogue of MacRieve it says that she appears to be in her early twenties. However, the warlocks stole her from the past so I think that will make her a lot older than we think she is. And in one of the earlier books, I think it was A Hunger Like No Other, it was said that a clan seer predicted that Munro's mate would be a harridan. According to Google a harridan is "a strict, bossy, or belligerent old woman".

I hope KC puts out an epilogue or something soon to hold me over until May. It's only four months away but it seems like forever.

Hahahaha!!! I get it. We all have different reactions to different covers and that's OK. Lothaire is one of my faves! MacRieve ....not so much.

message 30: by Simone (new)

Simone | 8 comments I have to agree with Lulu. I’m not a fan of Macrieve’s cover either. I am still super excited to see what Munro’s cover looks like. Hot and hotter amirite?

A bit off topic but lothaire’s cover is a yes from me. And for some reason Shadow’s claim as well. I think Trehan looks hot lol.

message 31: by Sarah Marie (new)

Sarah Marie | 36 comments Oooo Shadow's Claim and Pleasure of a Dark Prince. Super swoon.

I wish we had a fan wiki that had all the charts and graphs for these timelines!

message 35: by Martel (new)

Martel | 5 comments So, we're in mid-April and no news. Does anybody have a clue about the book?

message 36: by Eunice (new)

Eunice Lopez | 22 comments I been looking everywhere, no news!!!!!!! I even listen to Jen and Sarah's awesome podcast on the IAD books (https://fatedmates.net/) at least they seem convinced that its still coming out in May.

message 37: by Lindsay (new)

Lindsay | 80 comments I know it's troubling that there has been no news, but I'm holding out hope that since we haven't heard that the date has changed it will still be released May 28. No news is good news, right?

message 38: by Lulu (new)

Lulu (lulululu) | 268 comments Still no news? I haven't even seen a cover for this book yet. Come on, KC, give us some hope or, at the very least, an update!

message 39: by Lindsay (new)

Lindsay | 80 comments One more month hopefully (keeping my fingers crossed)

message 40: by Sarah Marie (new)

Sarah Marie | 36 comments How many books do we think are left in the series?

message 41: by Sarah Marie (new)

Sarah Marie | 36 comments Nix defo. And some resolution of Fury would be nice. I just need her to tie up this massive war she's been building forever and finish the accession. That's all! JUST RESOLVE IT GURL.

I mean, of course I'd love 15 more books. But I'm nervous that she's tired of the series and she's just gonna leave us hanging.

message 42: by Lindsay (new)

Lindsay | 80 comments I think she will do the rest of the Dacians, the rest of the Morior, Fury, Nix, and Kristoff. I hope she will do a book for Chloe's succubus cousin and one book with an incubus as the hero because we haven't seen one yet and a book for Cade's demon friend from his book.

message 43: by Eunice (new)

Eunice Lopez | 22 comments Stacie wrote: "No clue. Hopefully we'll get another handful. At the very least, I would LOVE to see a book about Nix. Did KC ever mention series length in interviews? Who do ya'll wish the next books will be about?"

I know she did mention that Nix story would be the last book, and she has never mention the length of IAD or how many more she plans to write. The more the merrier, shes finally done with that YA series so hopefully from now on it will be all IAD.

message 44: by Simone (new)

Simone | 8 comments I saw a few days ago that it only said “published “, but no date. *sigh”

message 45: by Neeha (new)

Neeha (njsbooknook) | 2 comments Oh no.... so definitely not May 28th then :(

message 46: by K-Gorgeous (new)

K-Gorgeous | 56 comments SMH what irks me the most is that she doesn't communicate. Did something happen to her?

message 47: by Lindsay (new)

Lindsay | 80 comments I saw that it now just says "2019" too. i hope she sends out a newsletter soon with some updates, or at least a FB post. I wonder if she has some personal issues going on.

message 48: by Sarah Marie (new)

Sarah Marie | 36 comments Yeah. It's a total bummer. She's such an amazing writer and I love EVERYTHING she does, but because she doesn't interact with us here, or on FB, or post a regular newsletter I feel really cold towards her book delay. And also sad.

JUST LET US LOVE YOU KRESLEY.

message 49: by Simone (new)

Simone | 8 comments I’ve been listening to fated mates podcast. Seems like they’re still expecting Munro to be out soon. They didn’t mention anything about a delay.
