Michelle Ferguson (mferguson) | 24 comments Mine was Illness: Own the Wind by Kristen Ashley.
She starts as a nursing student and eventually you hear about her dealing with her job. He got shot so it is a double whammy.

CL Booked | 38 comments INITIALS - I read “Judgment Road” By Christine Feehan. I gave it 3.5 stars. This was an MC story but with more depth and likeable characters that I normally don’t find when I read anything MC. The story won’t be everybody’s cup of tea and it may trigger some ppl, but it was a good story and I felt for all involved

Kat | 32 comments For Island I read The Unhoneymooners which is partially set in Hawaii. Hopefully that counts.

ILLNESS - I read Simple Wild by KA Tucker where the father of the MC is very sick. I highly recommend it.

For both ILLNESS and ISLAND I read LM Montgomery’s The Blue Castle. Adorable!!

Undine | 34 comments For ISLAND I read Meg Cabot's No Judgments, which was exactly the light read I needed, which is usually the case for her books!

Until, of course, you get to the casual reference to "letting" prisoners work for time off their sentences.
