Undine | 34 comments A morning show segment counts as stage or screen, right? I read KM Jackson's Insert Groom Here for STAGE!

A millionaire bad boy walks by a coffee shop and sees her. He was added to my book boyfriend list so darn fast.

STANDALONE - Read Serious Moonlight by Jenn Bennett. It was really cute. She does YA romance well. I liked it better than Starry Eyes, but it's not quite as good as Alex, Approximately.

STANDALONE: I just read The Flatshare. It was cute but not as good as I had hoped. I didn't care for the differences in writing style between the characters

CL Booked | 38 comments STANDALONE- I went with ‘Almost’ by Anne Eliot.
DNF 21% This book deals with a serious and sensitive subject matter but that’s not the reason why I couldn’t finish it. There’s just no spark pulling me in and keeping my attention. What I have read so far isn’t bad, but I’m finding it difficult to develop a connection. I think this book is just not for me regardless of the high reviews it got.

I might try and read another book for this letter

CL Booked | 38 comments Round 2 - STANDALONE- I read The Plan by Qwen Salsbury. I gave it 3.5 Stars. It was a fun and solid read that had a touch of enemies to lovers between coworkers and mutual pining. The author’s voice reminded me a bit of Sally Thorne as well. In saying that there were some issues I had. Towards the end I was finding h’s motivations confusing and she kept going back and forth with her thoughts towards H which was annoying. Also I wasn’t a fan of the big smut scene towards the end. It was way too long that I skipped parts (I never skip smut!!!) and just the style of writing, all those over the top descriptive singular words, just nope, I don’t like that style at all.
