A missing finger is the eerie link between a houseboy, a dancehall girl, and a man-eating tiger in this magical tale set in colonial Malaysia.

I picked this one also. I wasnt sure about it but it seems like one that could go either way for me.
I picked this one & personally really enjoyed it. It appeals to the part of me that liked books like A Gentleman in Moscow or Pachinko. Although this has more enchantment to it. (Perhaps in the way The Mermaid & Mrs Hancock is? But that has a very different writing style to The Night Tiger.) Anyways, this was one I was really glad to add on.
I'm halfway through it now and I'm loving it! Staying up too late because I can't stop reading. I'm not big on books where I can guess what's going to happen next and this one is so unpredictable in a good way
Done, I didn't love this one like I'd hoped. It was a little slow for me but I did like the lore, connections, characters and the overall story! good ending too!review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
