December 20 -- So I guess I shouldn't have been so hard on myself in April. But I've been reading away, so with no particular timing, I will start posting my completed books.
April 8--Have I really not updated my list at all this year, or am I in the right place? Before I add much more, I'm going to do more exploring. But on my unofficial scorecard, I've got 15/52, with a few more waiting for categorization.

1. A book that was nominated for or won an award in a genre you enjoy
2. The Man Who Fell in Love with the Moon by Tom Spanbauer A book with one of the 5 W's in the title (Who, What, Where, When, Why) - man WHO fell
3. Crime & Punctuation by Kaitlyn Dunnett A book where the author’s name contains A, T, and Y - kAiTlYn dunnett
4. The Feather Thief by Kirk Wallace Johnson A book with a criminal character (i.e. assassin, pirate, thief, robber, scoundrel etc) - The book is about a pretty big caper, but there's plenty of "criminal characters" throughout.
5. Hag-Seed by Margaret Atwood A book by Shakespeare or inspired by Shakespeare Based on The Tempest, which I both read and went to a local production of at the same time. Meta! #mindblown
6. Sadie by Courtney Summers A book with a dual timeline - Sadie's and that of the reporter tracking her down
7. 2 books related to the same topic, genre, or theme: Book #1

11. Zlateh the Goat and Other Stories by Isaac Bashevis Singer A book related to one of the 12 Zodiac Chinese Animals (title, cover, subject) I had several options for this, but as a Capricorn who read this in January...

15. The Greengage Summer by Rumer Godden A book by an author from a Mediterranean country or set in a Mediterranean country Set in Épernay, France
16. The Big Clock by Kenneth Fearing A book told from multiple perspectives MC, his wife, his boss ...
17. Clay's Ark by Octavia E. Butler A speculative fiction (i.e. fantasy, scifi, horror, dystopia) I'm still not sure what this means, but on several lists, etc., this book fits

18. Sleeping Giants by Sylvain Neuvel A book related to one of the elements on the periodic table of elements Including Iridium, Iron, and Argon
19. Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie A book by an author who has more than one book on your TBR At current count, she has 13 on my TBR, as I read 5 in this year
20. Rabbit-Proof Fence: The True Story of One of the Greatest Escapes of All Time by Doris Pilkington A book featuring indigenous people of a country About Aboriginal and "mixed" children when Australians were being as dumb and despicable as the rest of us white folk
21. The Third Policeman by Flann O'Brien A book from one of the polarizing or close call votes TKTKTKTKTKTK

22. Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut A book with a number in the title or on the cover Most covers include a prominent Roman V; I listened to two versions back and forth for comparisons, but I can't sort for the actual editions now

32. Book Of The Dead by Patricia Cornwell A book with more than 500 pages - Listed at 511--and anyone who follows me will appreciate that I was surprised to learn that I'd completed this task and that I just squeaked it in
