I am bringing this challenge back this year since it seems to be one people like. It is also a great way to clean off your TBR shelf.

Pick 12 books (plus 2 alternatives) to read this year. You must pick and post them before you start the challenge, then at the end of the year see how many you finished.

I picked up a stack of books that have been setting by my bedside table for too long. Here are my 12 for the year.

First one off the list!

I finished reading The Kiss Quotient today. I ended up really liking it and want to read the rest of the series now.

My goal for the summer is to knock some of these off this list.

I finished Cocaine Blues today. I really enjoyed reading the first book in the series that became Miss Fisher's Mysteries.

Knocked two off so far this month. Trying for a third.

Knocked another one off this list. My focus this month is to see how many of these I can read.

Finally marked off a 2nd book from this list!

Instruments of Night, I have had the book forever and wasn't sure I would like it but ended up really enjoying the read.

I am putting Friday Night Knitting Club in the DNF give away pile. I tried for 3 days and cannot get into it.

Not doing so well this year with this list.

Finally got another one off this list! Entering Normal by Anne D. LeClaire. Going to try for another one before the end of the year.

Knocked on off this list that has been there for two or three years running. Shabanu: Daughter Of The Wind

Didn't really like it, but kind of want to read the second book in the series.

I finished 3 books this year and attempted but didn't finish 1.

Maybe next year will be better.

So I'm calling this one done for the year. Knocked 7 off the list. Ready to set up my list for 2020.
