So I picked this book solely based on the cover (and the sale price). Picking a book only by its cover is something I've never done before, but the challenge gave me the idea. I started the book and quickly found out - its number 2 in a series. I have never read number two, without first reading number one. But I decided to give it a try. I really did enjoy it, and am going back to read #1, but probably will at least look to see if a book is a sequel before blindly picking one again. lol
