How to Play- Roll 2 dice to move around the board. You can use regular or electronic dice. Click here for electronic dice.
- Read a book for the genre, category, or theme of the square you land on before rolling again. You may plan up to one roll in advance.
- Choose books from your existing shelves if you can (real or virtual).
- If you need ideas, ask!
- If you land on a "Partner Pick" square, request in the game thread for someone to choose a book for you to read from one of your shelves (please provide the link to your shelf).
- If you are choosing a book for another player, select from their existing shelves. You may offer a choice of up to 3 books.
- One round is complete when you pass GO. You can play as many times as you like.
- If you find that you're unable to finish a book, you can forfeit the turn by asking for a Partner Pick substitute.

Claire, I'll give you a choice between Cry, the Beloved Country, The Poppy War, and Arthur & George. That should give you some room to consider your current mood. Enjoy!

Thanks, Allison! I'm going to go with The Book Thief as I've had that on my list for a very long time!
Planning ahead--what does the Theme: Society mean?eta:
I think I'm going to go dystopian for this theme and read
, which I've been meaning to for some time!
Allison wrote: "Dystopia sounds perfect for the society theme!"Thanks! I'm rather excited about finally tackling Scythe, lol!

Rolled 12: Orange - YA, Middle Grade or Childrens - Timebound
Rolled 4 - Book sale (favorite author) - Vendetta in Death
Rolled 8 - Library fine (borrowed book) - Scream for Me
Rolled 12 - back to Go! That was fast- Round 3
Eileen wrote: "I THINK I've read a J.D. Robb book before, but I honestly don't remember!"OMG - I'm on #49 - I Love this series!! Eve & Roarke are such fun to read. I devour these novels. Let me know if you need a few of these for your collection - I may have a few I can RABCK you.
I would start at the beginning (Naked in Death). It’s not totally necessary to read in order but there are continuing characters/ storylines.RABCK = random act of bookcrossing kindness. (Basically, I have books that I’m willing to share (as long as I’m shipping in the US the postage is reasonable) with no strings attached. Bookcrossing is a way of registering and releasing books and something I’ve done for years. I’m BKind2books on that site if you go to Bookcrossing.com)
Wow, that's a neat thing to be a part of! I've been giving away books for years, but nothing like that. My libraries have Naked in Death, so perhaps I will give it a try! One of my libraries also has books 1-5 as a single e-book.
Round 3 starting at Go!Go! - Falling for You

Rolled 8: Part of a Series: Kill For Me

Rolled 10: Travel Away: will edit (if/when) I select
Cindy wrote: "Round 3 starting at Go!Go! - now to find book for this"
Great job! I'm slowly making my way through the second round. I had a series of low rolls. :)
Hey all, I need another partner pick. Can someone look through my horror section and find a book I haven't read before? Thanks!
Eileen wrote: "Hey all, I need another partner pick. Can someone look through my horror section and find a book I haven't read before?"Eileen, I've heard that Dean Koontz is good, although I'm not really a horror reader so I can't speak from experience. So I pick Prodigal Son for you. I hope you like it!
