Books Just Finished/Now Reading

JF / NR 2019
I haven't finished anything today and have been bad and haven't read. Need to get to reading now.Flygirl since it goes live on 3rd which it day after tomorrow and I'm probably just reaching half way point.
JF: A Room of One's Own, finally. I picked this essay to be my last read of 2018 thinking I’d finish in a day or so but it required much closer reading than I anticipated. Now on to The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle.
JF: first book finished for the new year. Flygirl by R.D. Kardon NR: Turning point by Danielle steel (arc to read/review)
Cowboy to the rescue by Harrison (arc to read/review)
And Janet Evanovich (library)
JF Robert B. Parker's Blood Feud light, the Sunny Randall series always was; I like Jesse Stone better. Possibly because the structure of a police procedural supports Jesse while Sunny seems less, ... something. NR finally started October's group read The Reckoning
JF:-
A handy read with some excellent recipesNR:-
Back to reading from my favourite author Stuart MacBride and one of his most excellent characters
Just a little reminder come over and join us on the 2019 Determination Plus challenge thread. Join in. It's easy enough to do there are no book police. Thank you to the ones that have joined in already. Happy New year and hope you have a great year of reading books.
NR: An impossible attraction by Winckler, The girls at 17 Swann Street by Zgheib, one touch cowboy by Leigh/Chadwick. (All arcs to read/rev)Chain reaction by Lowell, Romeo and Juliet, The Guernsey Literary & Potato peel society by Shaffer/Barrows (owned print).
JF The Reckoning audio a depressing story that left me sad but glad I read it. NR Kingdom of the Blind audio. Back to my library list and expiring loans. Longer audio books and bad weather not conducive to walking have cut into my listening time.
JF: Out of the Dark by Gregg Hurwitz. The best yet of the Orphan X series.NR: Winter in Paradise by Hilderbrand
The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle is ready for me at the library. So I’ll be picking that up and starting it this week too.

Oh do I love John Verdon! How'd you like Think of a number, Jan?
JF: The Girl Before by JP Delaney (Loved!!!!)JF: The Party by Robyn Harding (meh, just ok)
NR: An Anonymous Girl by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen (almost done, but highly recommend!) **wanted to update on this, I just finished this book yesterday and I do NOT recommend. The ending was a waste of a good storyline.
I really want to get a copy of the 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle, I've seen so many good reviews!
Carol/Bonadie wrote: "Oh do I love John Verdon! How'd you like Think of a number..."I've been reading the group discussion as I went along, Carol, and saw that you'd really liked it. For me, it was just an okay read. I posted my final thoughts on the group read thread, so I won't repeat them here. Is the series ongoing or was it just a handful of books?

P.S. Glad to have you on board this crazy ride!
Ms O’Cat: I am listening to the audio! I will admit to having paused to rewind a minute or two several times. It does appear this book will be a test of my fairly well-honed audio listening skills ;)
