So I read more this past year than I did the year before. Still not 50, I was 18 books away. I am going to devote more time to reading and less time to social media. I have already completed on book, so off we go!!

1. All Through the Night - Mary Higgins ClarkA charming little Christmas tale. A wife and her husband become amateur sleuths after winning the lottery. They tie together the mystery of an abandon child and a church break in. It was pretty simplistic as far as mysteries go but it was sweet and a quick read.

Good luck with hitting your goal! I'm the same way about social media -- especially on my lunch break. I only have 30 minutes to get to the break room, eat, and get back to work, and I spend most of my eating time checking my e-mail and reading Twitter than I do reading the book I take with me to lunch! I have to become less addicted to the blue little bird!
Good luck to both of us :)

2. A Nantucket Christmas - Nancy ThayerThis Christmas story circulates around an older couple who have been married before. Throwing in a pregnant stepdaughter, a perfect ex-wife, the husband of said stepdaughter, a young boy and a dog. It is pretty predictable but it is nicely written and adds warmth and charm.
some how or other, I have gotten behind with posting here. I have been reading though.3. The Witch Elm - Tana French
4. Island House - Nancy Thayer
5. The Bridge of Clay - Markus Susan
6. Unsheltered - Barbara Kingsolver
7. Tricky Twenty Two - Janet Evanovich
8. The Tiger Rising - Kate Do Camillo
9. Where the Lilies Bloom - Vera Cleaver and Bill Cleaver
