Popsugar Reading Challenge 2019 discussion

Are you allowing yourself to re-read books for the topics? Or are you choosing to do all new books you haven't read before? And are you allowing one book to fill multiple categories?

I’m going to try to do a different book for each category and do all new books. With the exception of the nostalgic ones 😊

I really want to crack down on my TBR which I just keep adding to, so I'm doing a different & new (to me) book for each category.

I'm also going to try to avoid picking books in a series for this challenge so I'm not tempted to keep reading but only finishing one prompt. I am making a few exceptions like with Caraval since there's only 2 out, but for the most part, no series.

I am doing about half and half of books I've read before. The books that I have read before are ones I haven't read for at least 2 years (most way more than that), because I love rereading my favorite series! The other half will be new reads that I haven't yet had the chance to read. I like how the series were brought up, because I am doing series, and trying to fit multiple books in the series in different spots, because I really love series!

I actually think trying not to do series is going to be really challenging for me since most of the books I read/want to read usually are series/authors prone to series. Just trying to branch out more, get myself really reading again.

I’m going to choose books bought from second hand stores! I love sorting through the books and finding treasures!
I have bought so many of my books this way!
I love discovering messages inside the covers or buying 10 books for only $1!
I like new books as much as anyone but to me, a book that was read and loved means a lot more!
